Messonghi Beach

 The last time i went to it, the sand isnt golden like glyfada the water was dirty and the swimming was bad. Its shallow water which i spose is safe as little ones can stand up securley. Theres plenty of beaches which are better than Messonghi which have a lower rating.

Messonghi is just a wonderful place to chill out and relax.  The locals are unique and are so helpful to everyone. They treat you like family.  Beautiful walks in real Greek countryside and place is so laid back.  More locals than tourists which makes it such a wonderful place.  Wouldn't be anywhere else in the world - it is special but don't tell everyone about it!

just got back from messongi and had a fantastic holiday!! we stayed in the Pantheon hotel where the manager (beverley) was excellent. it was a little quiet as it was the end of the season but thats exactley what we needed after i have just started a business. wednesday we borrowed a car from the hotel and drove to corfu town and then kavos. also went on Captain homers blue lagoon boat trip which was fantastic. well recommended

We had a great time in Messonghi in June, the people were lovely and restaurants good, we have booked to go back next year to get married!!

We really liked this beach. Safe, shallow water combined with friendly people. Had a go on the doughnuts! Not for the faint hearted but loved every minute. We are planning to go back next year.
