Hi we went to arillas in october 2005 had a great time however we went at the end of season,
Fantastic friendly resort with plenty of relaxation. We were on an extended hen night to corfu in june and I can certainly say that arillas nudist beach saved us a fortune in hiring a stripper. The main part of the beach is great too. Nice sand and tavernas and bars close at hand. It's also just a quick taxi journey to the clubs of sidari without needing to be stuck in a noisy resort. Not sure its that good for kids as we didn't see any and being on this side of the island some of the waves are quite big. Great for couples and er the occasional hen night. (I don't think the locals had heard of hen nights before we turned up).
Arillas Beach is a great spot for relaxing and swimming in the shallow waters. Sunbed and umbrella hire is reasonably priced and the man who runs it is lovely. There are great tavernas near the beach. Beautiful sunset is to be seen every night.
i stayed at arillas in june/july 2004 i thought it was gr8 and i will be returning again in sept 2004. the beach was clean and the area is so safe you could leave your things for hours at a time and nothing would get touched. the area i must say was a 10/10hit with me.
cant wait to see everyone from the akti hotel the marina hotel and the coconut bar.
luv Claire xxxx

Arillas beach is excellent. We were there in October and swam every day. The water is very clear and is great for kids.
For KEITH BURNS, who is taking his wife to Arrilas for an all over tan.
YES Keith, go to the far left end of the beach for that all over tan.
Everyone is there only for that all over look.
ENJOY:::
We went to arillas in june 2003 and it is really gorgeous.It is quite a small place but there was always something to do and the beaches were really beautiful.We stayed at the mariner appts and they we really clean and the balcony doors opened up to a garden which led u straight on to the beach.The nightlife was average for the size of the area we spent most of our time in Malibu's which was a karaoke bar.We met a couple who worked in there from liverpool and they were really friendly although we tipped them quite alot so hi to lewis and julie if u ever read this. It was great fun although it is not the sort of resort to visit if you want a single and lively type of nightlife.One thing you must do if you ever visit arillas or anywhere in corfu is visit Theo and his crew on his amazing boat trips they were so funny and entertaining we still laugh about it today.Thats all from us about arillas, ENJOY!!!!!
Spent the first week of the season there in 2000. Had a brill time. The beach was good but the sea at that time was cold. There was also a strong rip-tide so be careful. The nudest section was an eye-opener. Very relaxed though...
I have to agree that the beach here is probably better than most, because it has fine sand and is not shingle like at paleokastritsa. It has a few shops and tavernas running along the rear which is handy. It is not very big though, so you may need to take a stroll along to the left (if you go right you get to the nudist section apparently - damn, the missus wouldn't let me go that far!) Agios georgios is the next beach to the left from arillas(10 mins by boat hire) around the rock face, which is again popular but very clean and wider, so you can have a fair amount of privacy there. I would recommend hiring a boat and going that way instead of car because the roads are a little windey, narrow and rather steep.
nice beach as there is plenty of space for everyone unlike some other places e.g. paleokatristos. laid back atmosphere - each to their own. shallow water, great for those who can't swim too well. parasailing here is good.
i last visited arillas in the late 80's and found it to be a friendly,welcoming and, overall,an unspoilt part of corfu,devoid of much of the commercialism associated with other parts of the island at that time.i just wondered if it is still the same as i remember it or has it,as i fear,succumed to the over development that many other places has had to endure.i look forward to your comments, happy exploring one and all.jackie
Have bben to Arillas twice now - peaceful, friendly resort. Beach is sandy and clean, sea is shallow- wind gets up a bit at times but this has can have a nice cooling effect. Tavernas, shops close at hand
