hey!! yes it's red hot in good old blighty now that we have returned from a fab week (not enough...book two weeks!!) but nothing can possibly compare to the peace and serenity of eriva! hi dale!! glad to see you got back safely...jealous that you had 2 weeks there...back to the grind mate! e bay queen! I just got back from my holiday at Acharavi- Eriva apartments and i had a wicked time.!! Sphyros and Angelica (owners) made us so welcome and were very friendly. Wee Kleddi iz da best! Hes so sweet and i was so upset to be leaving everyone as i grew close to them all!   The rep Michelle was wicked. She helped you with anything you wanted to no about. I am definetly going to visit eriva again as i think the place was lovely, the food was gr8 and the people were what made your holiday complete.  Anyone who is going to Erive will have a brill time!!  I would recommend the restraunts: Acharavi park, Valentines and the pumphouse. ( Try Valentines chocolate cake its so yummy!! ) xxx

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Acharavi, staying at the Eriva Apartments.  We were made to feel very welcome and the apartments were spacious and clean.  Our two daughters loved the pool and made many friends.  Everything was "no problem".  We would recommend it, and hope to return.

Just come back from Eriva.  Apartment very clean and spacious.  All staff are very friendly and willing to help if you have any problems.  Not a great selection of food but what they do have is delicious.  Rooms cleaned every 2 days and towels changed 3 times a week.  Few mins walk to beach or shops.  Acharavi quiet for kids but Sidari only 13 euros away in taxi one way or local bus excursions only 5 euro return for adults and kids half price.  Roda is only about 20 min walk along beach and cheaper than Acharavi.  Well worth a visit.  Along route visit Danny's Bar, lovely pool, good food.  Roxannes in Roda worth visiting if you fancy an English breakfast.  Worth shopping around before you book with rep for any excursions, much cheaper.  Aqualand worth a visit. Will definitely return. 

no iron or hairdryer

We are going on holiday a week on monday, staying at the Eriva. We would like to know the following please; Do the apartments have a hairdryer and an iron? Is there anything else you can think of that we will require? Thank you for your help!

me and my partner are thinking about staying at eriva apartments in july, only problem is im terrified of cockroaches, could somebody please let me know what the apartments were like for cockroaches? thank you very much x

Hiya everyone, just found this website today, and I would like to say that the Eriva is just fantastic! It is so clean and beautiful and the you are made to feel so at home! I want to thank everyone who works there for making it a fantastic holiday! I also miss it very much, Kleddie to as he is great. I would recomend this hotel to anyone because it is GREAT!!!!!!! (Also hiya to jennifer and gemma! Sorry it is taking for me to send the book back jen, im wating for pics to stick in! And hiya gem i havent phoned you in a while coz i only have your dads moblie number!)

hi we have just come back from eriva and we thought it was excellent. the service was great, they helped us with any queries. as it is family run they are very friendly especially angilique and little kleddi. our apartment wasn't spotless but it was ok 2 sleep in. you can hire fans from the reception but they dont tell u that so make sure u ask.

Hey!we went 2 Eriva last year and we enjoyed it so much we came back again this year.Duno how anyone can dis it,coz its fab!it's so clean and the staff are so friendly!can't wait to go back next year :)

would just like to respond to the previous comment as i have just come back from acharavi. the rooms are spotlessly clean along with the pool. the waste bins are emptied 5 times a week and towels are changed 3. THERE ARE NO GERMANS!! some people do tend to put thier towels out early but i went to the pool at around 10am and didnt have much difficulty in gettin a bed. in july and august there are families with children asit is summer holidays.. if you dont like being around that kind of atmosphere then you should have read the brochure more carefully!
i find it unbelieveable that anyone can complain about these apartments. people return there year after year and never want to leave, like ive said in previous comments, the staff are amazing and make everyone feel like part of the family. if anyone has booked to go next year you will have a fantastic time!

Hi, just got back from Acharavi yesterday and stayed at Eriva. Had an absolutley amazing time. My friend and i stayed there for a week and wished we had booked 2 weeks. People there are fantastic, definatley going back next year. Thanks to those who made our holiday fantastic. xx

what sort of things are in the studio appartments??
Is there a kettle in the kitchen?
What can i expect when i get there.

I thought the germans were bad for putting towels on sunbeds but just returned from a week at eriva and all sun loungers were booked by seven thirty every morning, so had to make do with the beach which i found much better, you couldnt get in the pool for children in fact it appeared the parents sat round the bar all day and evening and the children just ran wild, kicking footballs around etc, there was never anyone in reception the appartments were very noisy, and ours was only cleaned twice, the bin in the toilet was emptied once and a couple of times we had no hot water.
It was ok for familys but if you are looking for peace and quiet forget it.

Hi there,we are just back from the Eriva apartments.The Eriva is fantastic,the owners Sphyros,Angelica are fantastic hosts, they know this is your holiday and they treat you like family and help you any way possible.All the staff try very hard to make your holiday as comfortable as possible yoryina,sophie,aylian are the nicest people you ever want to meet.People return there year after year,no wonder.Anyone that is going this summer,dont worry you have made the right choice.Acharavi is a bit quiet but thats what we wanted just to chill out. All restaurants are good just try a few until you find one you really like.We are going back in 2005...So best wishes to our new family at the Eriva from Steven & Caroline Brown,Jordan and Megan xx

I am staying at the Eriva apartments in July just wondered what temp it will be? Is anyone else going in July?

it costs around 40 euro's to get from airport to eriva. make sure u see the rep beforehand though as u need to know what room you are in!

my holiday is booked, and we cant wait, but can anyone help me find accomodation for one more person at the Eriva apartments, please , and also, is it expensive to get a taxi from the airport at 1am to acharavi. please help, thanks x

hi, in reply to ur queries. i spent the summer at Eriva, it a 5 minute walk to the main road in acharavi where there are shops,bars,restaurants etc. there is a shop close by to the apartments where u can get most things u will need. u are more or less by the sea, u just have to walk down the driveway! there are lots of traditional taverna's and small shops along the seafront. Roda is about 2km away will take u around 15-20 minutes to walk there, although it is a nice walk along the beach, its definately not hard to find! but if you would prefer a taxi the bar staff will be more than happy to call one for you and will cost u no more than 5 euro's to get to Roda. i hope you have a great time, u couldnt have made a better choice for your holiday! im definately going back this summer :o)
oh and i would definately recommend u try Valentines Taverna.. the food there is excellent and reasonably priced. extremely friendly staff too, but you get that everywhere in Acharavi.
if you need any more information i would be happy to help, i know all there is to know hehe.

can anyone help me going to the Eriva Apartments in June 2004 are there many shops for buying food etc, and how far away is Roda and Sidari, ?can you walk or is it too far. What about public transport etc.

Just arrived back from the Eriva Apartments yesterday. Had a great time. It is ideally located between the main street and the beach. The apartments were lovely and clean and the pool area very well cared for. Had some good evenings at the bar, football on, karaoke nights and quiz nights etc. I agree with other comments the staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. I had a problem on my first day (cooker didnt work) it was rectified that afternoon - good service.

I FOUND ERIVA ALLRIGHT THOUGH I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THE ROOMS WERE VERY SMALL AND NOT VERY NICE , THE STAFF AT ERIVA WERE VERY NICE AND FRIENDLY AND THE JMC REP JEMMA WAS VERY HELPFULL AND FRIENDLY TO US
I WOULD GO BACK TO CORFU BUT PROPERLY NOT TO ERIVA.ALSO THE POOL WAS SUPERB

Went to Eriva this summer....best holiday ever! great location, loved the local staff like family!! had an amazing week, very relaxing and still a lot of laughs! cant wait to go again! JMC reps were very unpleasing, but i suppose every good thing in life has its crap side...

I was the resort representative at the Eriva apartments this summer, would like to say that you couldnt possibly meet a nicer family than the guys that run this place. A HUGE thanks to you all for looking after me so well! It is such a wonderful place, that good i went back for a weeks holiday myself! i had such a great time, its not the place that makes it so amazing, its the people (both staff and guests). there is always such a cheerful atmosphere! I am already planning to go back sometime next summer because im missing everyone so much already! If you areplanning to go to the Eriva apartments and have never been before, you have made the right choice and you will definately have a great holiday!

Just back from Corfu and missing it already.The best holiday i've been on so far the staff were wicked especially Kleddi missing him loadz.Found the apartments lovely and well kept and the location was ideal.Met lots of new friends definetly wanting to come back next year.

We went to eriva apartments last july! The accomodation is great and all staff are great fun!! Everyone was very welcoming and went to great lengths to help out with anything you needed. Acharavi is beautiful, the town and beach just a short walk from the aparts. Yep, we agree Kleddi is the boss, he is top.My little brother and Kleddi became great friends!! Going back next week, Can't wait!!!!

Excellent!! Just back from our two week honeymoon at the Eriva. Friendly staff and owners and the location was perfect - a short stroll to the beach, bars and restaurants. The grounds of the apartments were very nice - well kept and set in gardens. We kept ourselves to ourselves but the entertainment at the pool was good and there if you wanted it. Ideal for families and couples. Lots of excursions available from the local tour operators which were very reasonably priced. Definately will be back!

What a fantastic place. The area had a quiet, relaxed atmosphere and the staff felt almost like family. Anything they could do, they would. Brilliant JMC rep - Rob you nutter. The area was perfectly located for either the beach or local shopping. Plenty to see and do along the north coast, especially with the help of a hire car. We reccomend driving up Pentacrator. Starlight bar, just round the corner from Eriva is great. Josie and Spiros are ace. Keep it up guys. Plenty of football on if thats what your after. Best place I've been to in a long time.

We found the ERIVA to our liking, the staff are the best.The place was spotless.The location is excellent, just 200 meters from the beach.There was some entertainment which suited those who wanted it.The swimming pool is excellent.Spiros really goes to some lengths to keep the pool in such perfect condition.Oh!look out for kleddi,he is the boss.We will go back to the ERIVA without doubt,as it's the freindliest hotel we have ever been to.So for Spiros and the family, YASSOO!!
