Me and my girlfriend went to st george south for 2 weeks in september 2006 and had a lovely time, the resort was lovely and the food was georgeous. Most of the time we went to 'Blue' which was next to Harley cafe as they had £2 cocktails where everyone else sold for £5, also the barstaff (spiro, janni, kostas) were great fun and also gave us a rare bottle of ouzo as a gift when we left whilst being great hosts throughout the holiday.
I'm looking to go to st georges south and the paradise apts in july 05 and will be booking next week, could you please tell me your thoughts on its location as I have never been to corfu before and cannot find much info on the apts in brochures and guides?

Have just returned from Paradise and the best holiday ever. My parents stay there year after year and now I know why. Katarina (the owner) makes you feel like her own personal guests without being intrusive. She works very hard every single day. If you've got kids you must stay here - they will be made to feel like the most special child on the planet! My nine year old daughter was distraught the day we left. The apartments are so clean and are surrounded by beautiful gardens. Always pleny of room at the pool which is also spotless. The picture and discription in the Argo brochure don't do justice. The resort is great too - something for everyone - provided you're not looking for club 18-30esque! I'd recommend Dimitri's and Panorama for great food, and if you want a meal on the cheap, you can't beat Beloti's. I'd also recommend any boat trip with Capt Spiros for good clean fun. We will definately be back.
Have recently returned home after a weeks stay at the Paradise Apartments (14/7/03-21/7/03). It was my first visit to Corfu and I could not have picked a more relaxing location for myself and my family. The apartments were clean, staff were very helpful and the pool was excellent. It kept the children entertained and provided a refreshing escape from the glorious sunshine. The complex is a credit to both owners, and I will definately be returning to the location in the future. As for culinary delights I recommend my two particular favourite restaurants in St George which are the San Carlos with its excellent views over the sea, and 'The Balcony, with its singing waiters and friendly family atmosphere. Both are a credit to the resort. Atotally enjoyable relaxing holiday, thenks to all concerned for making it so.
Set slightly off the main road, but with a great pool and prety gardens. Good clean rooms with fans. Small, but very family orientated. Good Service. I will certainly be going back.
