Andriana Apartments

We are going back to the Andriana on the 25th June for our 3rd time!!!! Love, love, love it there.  It's quiet but thats whats so cool about it.   I have an 8 year old and she loves it too, you can find activities if you want them but you have the benifit of them not being right next to your apartments.

The cleanliness is second to none and Andriana and her staff, both at the apartments and at the beach, are very helpful.

We love the Malabu reasturant and the best pool by far is at the Alexander Hotel about a five min walk but they are so welcoming and treat you like one of the family.

I'm off to make a countdown chart for my daughter so she can keep us informed of how many days until we go....

Had a great holiday in Sept 09 weather good  , apartments are wonderful , very clean, linen changed every three days, these apartments are very well kept,maid service everyday (except Sunday) Adrianna the owner actual lives in one of the apartments, she is very friendly and helpful, garden is also kept well. We shall be returning next year again.

We visited Andriana from 6th - 13 July.  Our first visit to Corfu. The apartments were of a high standard for Greece. The gardens were beautiful and well kept. The lack of a pool was not important, the beach is at the end of the little road and it meant a more peaceful environment as those with families were put off by the lack of one.  We hired a car for the week and toured most of the island - what a fantastic place, beautiful scenes around almost every corner.  Having seen the rest, we were more than happy to have chosen St George South and Andriana in particular as the night life was at the other end of the resort - at hand if you wanted it but one didnt have to put up with the disruption that went with it.  The restaurants at our end were more authentic and laid back.  We particularly recommend Malibu overlooking the beach at the very far end for good Greek food at good prices.  Our only gripe was that Thomsons didnt provide transport from the apartments on our last day.  This meant having to leave our suitcases there to be picked up by we know not who, and walking to Blue Diamond apartments over a mile away.  We kept the car for an extra day but others who had walked found it too much having to carry their hand luggage and change of clothes in the heat of the day.  Poor show Thomsons on that one.  

We have just returned from the Adriana apartments in St george south. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed every minute especially as it was the first time I had been abroad before.We hired a car for 3 days so we could see more of the island as there is only 1 bus a day to Corfu town in May/June. Driving around the island was an experience to say the least!!! There are  hundreds of shrines at the side of the road...a constant reminder of the young lives lost by accidents. Having said that ...dont let it put you off....it is a beautiful island and we would definitely go back to the same apartments. The beach is close by and Adriana runs the beach club hiring sun beds, pedalos and jet skis which you get cheaper by staying at the Adriana. There are plenty of tavernas, pools supermarkets all close by. You can use any pool at any hotel free of charge. If you need to hire a car see george at George cars where you will get a good deal. His cousin (I think) Yiannis next door hires quad bikes and neither of them can do enough for you. Everything is "No problem " They are lovely people.Everyone passes and greets you even if you have never met them before. The Greeks are lovely and friendly and I wish we were still there. the Adriana (you will find that they also spell it, andriana), was brilliant, best place on the resort.as soon as we came back i wanted to go again.Couldnt fault it. it didnt have a pool but it had a great garden. it was so near the beach the pool didnt matter. you can use any of the pools around, and there are a lot. brilliant, i want to be there now, we had no 9. it is very clean, enough space, very comfortable, and you get a visitor every night, well we did. a lizard, on the cieling of the balcony, catching insects. you will have a great time if you stay here. eat at spiros on the beach, zacks or my favourite,napoleons. have a great time, let me know how you got on, my name is dee (denise) dee875@hotmail.com
