What a fantastic place to stay in Paleo. Although we have visited Paleo many times and usually stay in the Oceanis Hotel, which is now closed. The Maria is definatly the best place to stay by far. Clean comfortable rooms. Bar, Pool and food excellent. Yiannis and Katerina are absoulute stars, nothing is ever too much trouble. Just sorry we havnt been able to go this year. Cant wait to go back. Strongly recommend staying here, you wont be disappointed
- GB 10/10Thanks for all the feedback regarding how to book at Maria Studios, Paleokastritsa, Corfu. The Maria/Faros website is updated now with info on how to book. We actually found them with Planet Holidays and booked two weeks in August, only to then be told that there had been an error and the apartments were no longer available. After speaking with Katerina we were disappointed to find out that they are almost fully booked so have now booked with Thomson for the Paleo Inn which is almost next door so shall still be able to visit everyone at Maria Studios and of course enjoy lovely Paleokastritsa just as easily.
- GBHello Elaine, I don't know if this will be of any use to you but we find the taxi's very expensive 50euros each way from the airport and back, yes the mini bus with Lord travel does take a bit longer but it is a great deal cheaper only 20 euros for two for one way. We have only booked one way as we have a day flight home so we intend to catch the local bus opposite the Maria Apartments to Corfu town it's only 2 euros each.You can get a connecting bus to the airport from the bus station in Corfu. We booked Lord Travel over the internet and we pay them when we get there. So it all depends on what you wish to spend. Good luck.
- GBWas thinking of the thomas studios but after reading about the steps............... any how saw all the comments about Marias, checked the usual websites and want to come to Marias in September instead. Have found a great flight from East Midlands with Jet2. Found room prices at hotels4u.com at £143.23 for 2 weeks for 2 people
thay also add on a taxi transfer service but this is over £100, 
(everyone says take a taxi cos the bus can take 2 hours as opposed to 1/2 hour by taxi)

- GB 10/10 - GB 10/10we stayed here last summer June 08 , what a fab time, Katrina is so welcoming and helpful ,Yannis is behind the bar most nights with his entertaining nature. Good little mover when it comes to Greek dancing!! Yannis 's mum and dad are also around most days , very nice couple always said hello to everyone.

Hi, Just a quick note to all who love Paleocastritsa and Maria studios,There have been some confusion as to how to book at Maria Studios since they were taken over by Allbury travel, I have found out and confirmed that the operators are Allbury travel , but booking must still be made through either ARGO or LIBRA HOLIDAYS, [ website or phone ] .
- GB 10/10We've just gotten back from a fantastic week, staying with Yianni and Katerina and their family at Maria Studios. It was my husbands first time in Greece and we had a cracking time, down to the amazing welcome and friendly atmosphere! Almost everyone we spoke to had been there at least once before, some even in their 20th or 39th year of visits and it really is testiment to the hard work of Yianni and his family.
- GB 10/10We had a fantastic week with Yannis, Katerina and family in August 2008. Met some lovely people, if John and Debbie from Sheffield read this, Russ and Sarah say Hi. Greek night was fantastic. These apartments are located in the best part of Paleo, Yannis and family are a joy to spend time with and make you feel very welcome. Food is excellent. We have booked for June 2009. (Just heard about the XL airways bomb shell) anyone booking with Argo Holidays through Allbury Travel for next year (2009), I was told that everything will be fine and a new airline will be allocated to your holiday.

Me and my girlfriend stayed at Maria Studios last year and loved it. Paleokastritsa was gorgeous and i couldn't recommend it highly enough. We would desperately like to go again in the summer but can't find anywhere on the internet to book a holiday to Maria Studios. Does anyone know of a place where we can find details ??? We see all these people talk of how they go there year after year so there must be a way!

- GB 10/10 We have just returned from the Maria Apartments in Paleo what a fantastic place, the resort is fab and totally unspoilt. We were originally booked at another apartment but were changed at the last minute thankgod.

We have stayed at Maria Studios for the past 5 years and it is fantastic! Yiannis and Katerina are lovely hosts and everyone is very friendly. We will be there once again this summer for sure!!!
- GB 10/10WE LOVE FAROS POOL BAR (MARIA STUDIOS) IT IS REALY GOOD...THERE IS A BBQ ON EVRY SATURDAY NIGHT WITH GREEK DANCING AND IT IS VERY ENTERTAINING...WE GO EACH YEAR NOW BECAUSE WE ARE VERY GOOD FRIENDS WITH YANNI, KATERINA, BABY MARIA, AND MY NICE GRACIE IS GOING OUT WITH SPIRO THEIR SON...IT IS A VERY PRACTICLE PLACE TO STAY BECAUSE IT HAS GOT: A SHOP NEXT DOOR TO IT - A NEAR BY BEACH - AND LOTS OF BARS.

This must be the best pool bar in Paleo. During the day you can just relax by the pool (loads of beds and umbrellas), nip to the bar for refreshments, or go and sit down and have a light lunch. You must try Yianni’s Dads mousaka with a few chips, absolutely fantastic.
In the evening Yianni is the entertainer, what a comedian. On a Saturday night it’s Bar-B-Q time, again the food prepared by Spiro. Yianni, his sister and Katerina get up and do the Greek dancing (watch out for the fire dance).
I have been here many times over the past 5 years since it was changed from a taverna. Once you get to know Yiannis and his family, you will become friends for life. I highly recommend it.
- GB 10/10We stayed at maria apartments last year in August 2006 and had the most fantastic time. The rooms were excellent clean and comfortable apart from the heat but yanis said air con was being fitted that winter. We have been looking where to book but cant seem to find anywhere so if anyone can help i would be most greatfull. This stay is a must as Yanis and Katarina will make you feel most welcome
