We were a little apprehensive, after having read some of these reviews, but were very happy to have chosen the Sailors apartments. The room was perfectly clean when we arrived, maybe a bit too little crockery (we ate breakfast cereal out of saucepans and frying pans), and could have done with a living area, but for the party animal, or anyone who isn't going to be a hermit and stay inside all the time, it works a treat.
We thought Kavos was going to be too lively for us, and were getting a bit scared, but upon arriving, there was something for everyone, except maybe a ballroom dance hall. ANY teenager/young person would like it here. Slight nag : Kavos has some uncovered sewers, so occasionally in stifling heat and windy weather, you can catch wind of some nasty smells. I thoroughly recommend Eve's Garden restaurant. any 3 courses for 8 euros + free wine!!! Also, Kavos is good for taking trips to Greece, being so near. One long road : you can't really get lost, even in the most drunken state (we found this out). A bar, club and restaurant for every person in the world under 50 years of age, however be aware of the slightly annoying PR people, who will hug and kiss anyone to get them into your establishment. Thoroughly Recommmended. THUMBS UP!!! :->
quality place. excellent surroundings/decorations. have drunken fun with the amazing uv light, that never ceases to entertain. the front bit (the bar) is a bit more for your cheesy pop, singing along and a bit of a**e-wiggling. get out the back (the club) for the indie/alternative scene, and get jiving all night long. open until 5 on a saturday night/sunday morning. very enjoyable. great music. couldn't stop dancing because i loved all the tunes so much, which meant i almost died of exhaustion. can't sing enough praise about the rolling stone. oh, one downer. the crappy little rolling stone at the front of the bar is pathetic and a let down.
one visited briefly on part of a bar crawl, but was amazing nonetheless. this bar is second only to rocky's and the rolling stone. nice sing along music, everyone gets their vocal chords working and a**es jiggling. definitely worth a look.
Not even worth a look, i'm afraid. Unfortunately, we had to trawl across it to get to the jetty to go to Greece. Nasty stuff. Covered in 'orrible seaweed all across the shore. BIG MOUNDS OF SEAWEED
Try out the beetle juice. Enough said. Get a few of them down ya, and your well on your way.
Top value for money. works out at just £20, and that includes the blue lagoon trip aswell. The beach was very nice. Was great for playing football and tug of war. A great laugh. Lovely weather helps, which he half got. Water was clean and warm. Great for a swim. BBQ was top notch!! Best barby i've ever had. The pork chops are perfectly juicy. Can't be beaten. A lovely day
Unfortunately, we were expecting more from Kerkyra, but it turns out the shops in Kerkyra consist of Marks & Spencer (apparently!!! we didn't find it), Mango, which we also didn't find, Diesel, an Adidas shop, and approximately 3,481 tourist shops selling crap. Only good for buying stamps and postcards i'm afraid. Very nice town though. Good selection of restaurants, which admittedly, a pleasure to eat in, but that wasn't what I payed 15 euros for. Go for the views and eating, stay in your resort for drinking, sun and shopping
Bar was expensive, (well normal prices, but no special deals), because they rely on you coming in because fo the films and sport. A very comprehensive set up of speakers and screens showing all the latest releases. Boards outisde advertise the films of the day, so you can come back when your film is up. They also have a set of pool tables, air hockey and other arcade games, which are a laugh after watching your film. Go here on your last night, if you have a morning flight, and every other night, depending on whether you are a film buff or not. Good fun. Good idea. Recommended *****
We were looking for somewhere to watch the England footy match, and we couldn't have asked for anywhere better than the barn. 4 cocktails for €8. Very nice. Big screens. Can't miss the action. Particularly good for football matches.
Couldn't have asked for anything more. Stole the DJs smoke machine button, filled room with smoke. hahaha. Music was fantastic. Not one bad song all night, drinks were good value for money, and there was loads of space for dancing, which we did a fair bit of. Hard not too, when there is such good music on. Second only to the Rolling Stone. Sorry
