My sister,my mum, her friend and myself stayed in the villa marie august 2002 and it had lovely views and it was very peaceful. Pleasant 5 miniute walk into village along the beautiful beach. There was the venus appartments and pool opposite the villa and has large grassed area and snack bar. Take a torch for walking back from the village at night! and i reccomend that you visit the water park in Acharavi it's called hydropolis and it is a 5 miniute mini bus drive away and it is nice for the family. It has a small childrens zoo and a giant bouncy castle with a giant trampoline and i really enjoyed it!
Myself, my mum and her friend visited the ninos, august 2001 and we really enjoyed it ! The kitchen facilities were poor but we had a lovely back terrace. it was peaceful and had a lovely view! the pool is so nice and clean and the people working there are so friendly and polite! we go to roda every year and we still go to the ninos pool (if staying somewhere else) and it's so nice. There is the music but there are ninos appartments towards the back of the pool where it is much more peaceful. The karaoke is good fun (some times!) and the music tends to quiet down and it's not as bad as everyone is making it out to be! i would definately suggest these appartments as a holiday location! lisa****
has anybody got anything nice to say about the elenitza, were going in august 2003?? lisa
all we have to say is watch out for the spider as you walk in! (a joke they do) and this bar is such fun and the bar men are really friendly! definately a 10 out of 10. lisa**
this is the definately the nicest, most friendliest taverna in roda. The 'captain' is so friendly and a really good laugh! the food is great aswell! to bloody cheap! and the view whilst you eat is excellent if you go at about 7.31- 8ish then you have a gorgeous view of the sun going down, 10 out of 10!!
english people run it, very polite couple!, great food, watch out for the bees! nice water front location on the outskirts of the village towards acharavi!
i go horse riding in roda and it's a really nice journey around the 5.00pm and we were back for about 7.00pm and the horses are beautiful and it's a great trip for the family!but i cant get my mum on a horse!
i went to aqualand a couple of years ago and it was excellent! the lazy river had to be my favourite part of it! you can just relax whilst floating round on a rubber ring (a massive, comfy one!) and it's so relaxing and there's also a water ride that you can go down in a rubber ring and it's excellent!and definately worth your money! but watch out for the wasps whilst you eat!
