Just got back from Kavos (10/10/05) This was our fave bar!! The owner Timos was so funny. Gave us so many free drinks. He also let us chose which music we wanted each night and trusted my boyfriend to light the fires!! Pedro was great too. Gave us loadsa free shots. Would def go back to see Timos and Pedro!! I recomend this bar to anyone thinking of going to Kavos!!
Only went in here once which was bcos we were forced to but had quite a good time. Good deals on drinks, buy a cocktail and get a free fish bowl filled with wat u want. Was a good place to start the night. Bit annoying tho cos we had to pass this place to leave or go back to our hotel and the ppl trying to get u into the bars wouldnt stop hasseling us!! Would recommend tho!!
Only went in here once cos it was really quiet and once again we couldnt b bothered to argue with the ppl trying to get us in. Had a few drinks then left. The next day we walked past it and there was someone in there doing tattoos!! Would u really wanna get a tattoo somewhere where u had been drinking the night before?!
We were really worried bout the beach before we went bcos of all the comments we had read but when we got there it was no where near as bad as everyone was saying. Yea it was small and there was quite a bit of seaweed in some areas but we walked along it and parts of it where actually quite nice. The sea didnt look to nice and i dont think i would have swam in it but the beach was ok. So if ur worried bout some of the comments u have read dont worry. Its not as bad as some say!!
We have just got back from Kavos went 3/10/05 - 10/10/05. we just managed to catch the end of the season. By our last day only a few bars were open but we still had a great time. The weather was so nice. Only had two days where it was cloudy and a tiny bit of rain but still warm. The rest of the week was very hot. Bit chilly in the evenings but once u have a few drinks u dont notice it If we go back again tho we will def go July/August time so its more lively!!
We just got back from Kavos on 10/10/05 and had a great time. It was coming to the end of the season and alot of places were closing but still had a good time. Fire bar was the best. So many free drinks and we became friends with the owner Timos!! If ur looking for somewhere good to eat in the evenings Penny's Kitchen is great. 3 courses for 9.50 and it was the nicest food. Ate there 3 times the week we were there and the staff always welcomed us. They were really friendly. The beach isnt as bad as everyone says. There is a funny smell in Kavos but that is only bcos Greece doesnt have a very good sewage system. Its not there all the time just every now and then u might smell it but u get used to it as it isnt too bad. The only bad thing is the ppl trying to get u to go into their resturants and bars. They wont take no for an answer. So we decided each night where to eat before we went out so when we walked past them we would just tell them we had already eaten or we werent drinking that night and that made them leave us alone!! I know its there job but it is so annoying!! We stayed in Olympion Village apartments which were th newst apartments this season and they were so nice. All the staff were friendly, The rooms were really nice and the food was nice. They have a huge pool and a snack bar and cocktail bar by the pool. If ur thinking of going to Kavos this is where u should stay!!
This is def the best resurant in Kavos. We ate here three times while we were there last week. The staff were really friendly and always waved an said he when we walked by in the day time. They did offers on meals 3 courses for 9.50. The nachos for starter were a big portion and the garlic bread was nice. The chiken fajitas were my fave. I had them twice. Also the texicili chicken which a few of my friend had they loved it. Me and my boyfriend have tried to find a recipe for it as he liked it so much but cant find one anywhere. Wish we had asked them for it. Another friend had cajun steak which was huge. Twice the size of a steak u get here. He was full after half of it but ate it all cos it was so nice. On our last night when we went here we wanted deserts from the main menu and not the specials menu so they let us have them for just an extra euro each which we thought was so nice of them. Also u have to try the milkshakes there. Yum!! The best thing was after ur meal instead of mints they give u each a shot of sex on the beach. A great way to finish a meal The Greek dancing and plate smashing was a laugh. If ur going to Kavos make sure u eat here at least once!!
We have just got back from Kavos and for Kosmar fine to book with. Our flight was delayed at Bristol by an hour bcos of summit going on at Corfu airport so by the time we boarded the plane we were so tired as it was 6am and we hadnt slept. And we found that its not easy to sleep on a tiny plane!! Breakfast was nice tho. When we landed in Corfu we were the only stop from the transfer from the airport so only took about 50 mins. Our apartments, Olympion Village were excellent and the rep was really helpful. We booked thru her to go to Aqualand (which we after found out was very expensive and we should have booked with a company in the town) when we went to catch the coach on the Thursday morning it didnt turn up after an hr so we went bk to the hotel and they rang the company for us and found out that the Aqualand trip didnt run on Thursdays anymore. The rep, Laura hadnt been told this and she was really sorry and happy enough to refund our money. When it was time to go home on Monday we waited for our coach and it was over an hour late bcos the coach was doing summit else it had been booked for but at least we didnt have to wait as long at the airport. Also out plane was early. Only by bout 15 mins but we were happy with that!! Dinner on the flight home was cottage pie and it was so nice that me and my boyfriend wanted seconds!! Never thought id say plane food was that nice!! Overall we were all happy with Kosmar and would recommend booking with them.
