Our 1st time in Corfu let alone in Roda - and they summed up everything good about the island, good service, friendly and great hosts. Our first visit even included them changing sky sport channels at 11.00 on a Saturday morningso I could watch Wales play the All Blacks - and lose)

Tried to come second twice in the quiz - wanted to win cocktails - but breakfasts at lunchtime were really good, they even let Jane part ex a full English for a Greek Salad!!

Back to Corfu in June 2011 - we'll have to call in

crusoes,is the best brekie in roda and alex and sarah always made you feel welcome. Never seen sarah last year as she was watching the new baby. our quiz team was always something scottish and weans. hopefully be back this year

Sarah and Alex are great.  Had a really good laugh in Crusoes during our hols in September 2007.  Our team name was "The Best of British" and we did quite well in the quizzes each night.  Crusoes is well worth a visit and a great night out if you visit Roda!!!

Sara and alex at crusoes are friends of our family they r the first people we go to see when we arrive there.sara has good the boiled eggs with soldiers down to a T. Always have a great nite out in crusoes and when sara and I go out for a girlie nite together. They make u very welcolm and never forget a face. i stiil keep in touch with sara even when im bac in scotland.  

spent two weeks in roda in august,and sarah and alex made our holiday,they can`t do enough for you,they are the reason i would go back to corfu,if you go to roda you got to go to crusoes.

Sarah & Alex are great hosts. Loved the Quiz nights.  Real holiday atmosphere.   Always made welcome.

  Hi Sara & Alex well another holiday over for a year i am so going to miss my GRASSHOPPER cocktails ,ladies you have to try this its the best!!!! & ju will miss his bacon & egg buttie that he had each morning when nurseing a hangover.

Hello to you two Sara and Alex. Susan and Dave here, well me really, he is in bed! I read Lucy's comments - oh dear! I shall have to behave myself with those cocktails but they are sooooooooooooo nice!!  and I have never had a hang over. I only have a drink on holiday so I shall have to watch what I am doing. Have been going in Crusoes since 1999 when we visit Roda. Alex and Sara always make us welcome and they work so hard!!  We have met so many nice people in Crusoes and enjoy the banter.  We have found the easiest way to make friends there is to team up with another couple for the quiz and when we have been lucky enough to win anything other than the cocktails which the ladies share - we have given the other couple the prize. We just enjoy taking part. We are coming again in July this year so will be calling in to see you again.

 HEY GUYS HOW YOU ALL DOING? JUST TO SAY WE HAD ANOTHER BRILLIANT TWO WEEKS WITH YOU ALL. YOU GUYS NEVER CHANGE. STILL THE SAME LAUGHS AS ALWAYS.  JUST SETTLED INTO MARRIED LIFE. Can't believe anyone would have a bad word to say about Crusoes! It's the best bar in Roda and Sara, Alex, Nicole and Vicky are always ready with a warm welcome, a cheery smileand they even make time to have a chat. We holidayed for the 2nd year running in Roda this Aug/Sept and were amazed to find that they remembered us (Hopefully due to their excellent memories and not because we showed ourselves up last year or anything remotely embarrassing like that! )

Best of all are the nightly quizzes and we were lucky enough to be placed each time we played this year. The "two free cocks" were much appreciated!

Thanks Sara, Alex, Nicole and Vicky for adding to the enjoyment of our holiday again this year! Alex thanks for the chat and drinks into the early hours - sorry we made you stay up so late ) Good luck with the house guys and don't ever change! Crusoes rules! 

Hey guys!Sara here, and I would like to thank all our customers past and present for their laughs, time and ......being our friends.I would like to add though, to those 'English', not scots,welsh or Irish,only English, DO NOT SAY BAD THINGS ABOUT US when  you haven't been in our bar for ten years ie:ever.If you want  TO PAY OVER THE ODDS for 'english' food, we are the ones laughing!!! Not only that, you are not even polite about it.We qare the same as you:-saving for a holiday(waiting for 5 years) and to pay the rates.What makes you so different? Can't you afford £1 for an ouzo???   Anyway,we are not interested in those sort of people as they are cheap to themselves,to their family qnd to their friends, that means UNRELIABLE.To those who know us, what you see is what you get.Love to you all,family and friends.......nothing else matters.......Good winter!

alex and sara (and nicole)  we had a belting time in roda and you three were part of the fun   after many breakfasts and pints of english tea (john smiths) we were very reluctant to go home but we will be back and make a beeline for your pub  ps the only hunk was the greek with the pony tail and the cockney accent

 Crusoes was by far the best bar in Roda, you have to go there! The nightly quizzes are a laugh even tho a bit hard, but we came 3rd and 2nd and someone donated me their 1st prize of 2 free breakfasts which were big and delicious and we had them again! If susan and dave ever read these things, hello, we drew on the quiz and shared the cocktails and wine and susan got v. drunk and threw up hehe! Alex and sara are brilliant, i havnt been to roda for the last two years and its good to see that crusoes is still there. cant wait till i go back this summer. The food is very good and so is the cocktails.

This place is heavy gd.I went there for ma breakfast evry morin. Big full english amazin. Evry night i ended up there aswell the quizes are really good. Av only won a third prize once but its still a laugh.

Ended up in here most nights so what else can I say? There are other good pubs in Roda, which we tried, but usually finished up here at some point.

we have been visiting roda - and alex & sarah - for years - to the point that we are going to get plaques put on the chairs we sit in ! we meet the best people there and our family and friends are thoroughly converted ( they used to wonder why we always went back - now they know )see you next year x

didnt see this place much but it had a good reputation, + the food was lovely!

THE BEST...PUB IN RODA. My name is Nicole and I worked in Crusoes for summer 2004. Sarah and Alex were the best people I've ever worked for. We had great laughs and worked hard at the same time. If you walk in and Sarah is tucked in to her book and looks moody make sure you don't get the wrong impression, she's the most fun person you'll ever meet. And if you want to annoy Alex pull his pony tail...he'll get talking to you and you'll have a friend for life.
I miss you guys and would love to work for you again. Love you lots, see you when i get back! Nicole xxx
