Have to agree with this one. Alex and Sara are just fantastic. The first year I went to Roda they were so welcoming and friendly. The next year I went and considering the number of people they must have through the bar they still knew me. They are two of the nicest people you'll meet and create the best cocktails!

hiya alex and sarah. well went to roda in 2001 and this was the first place we ate at and its was EXCELLENT alex and sarah didnt even know us but they welcomed us like friends we went back everyday just to say hi we had our photo taken and promised to bring it back next time we visited. we went again to roda last may (2003) their was 13 of us and we had the greatest time ever we took our mum to eat there and she loved it (they even remembered us and we took our photo which they put on there wall) u get great value for money and the food is amazing cant wait to see u guys again in a few weeks :) love and best wishes to both of you see ya soon xxx :) (ANYONE GOING TO RODA EAT HERE THE FOOD THE COCKTAILS EVERYTHING IS GREAT)

Hello Sarah & Alec. I know you see many people year after year but we have been visiting only 2 consecutive years in May and the welcome you both give makes the holiday. As yet we have not won any quizzies but hopefully next year. Our first visit in May 2002 you so kindly issued black bins bags to keep off the heavy rain, we often talk about it to the friends we met in crusoes and have kept in touch with. We live many many miles apart, but we keep in touch thanks to you and Sara.

Anybody wanting a relaxed drink please try. Will bring a football top out with us in May 2004.

Been visiting Alex and Sara for years now, usually during Wimbledon fortnight. Always a happy smile and a warm welcome. Never pushy and always grateful for whatever amount of time you spend with them.

We really liked crusoes. Breakfasts were the best in Roda. Great VFM. Alex and Sara are excellent hosts, great with the kids. Considering he is greek he has a mean cockney accent! Highly recommended.

ALEX & SARA ARE ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT NEVER A DULL MOMENT WHEN THE TWO OF THEM ARE AROUND. QUIZZES EVERY NIGHT WITH A DIFFERENT THEME AND PRIZRS TO BE WON. THERE ARE SOME VERY DEADLY COCKTAILS ON THERE MENU. BEWARE!! THEY ALSO WELCOME FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN AND SPEND LOTS OF TIME WITH THEM. ENJOY!!!

Alex and Sarah mine hosts treat you like royalty. Top supping all day like being at home but Cardiffs not so hot. Excellent for the kids as well they look after everyone.
