Big Ben Pub

Yannis and Dimitre made us fell welcome from the start of our Holiday when we visited the Big Ben Yannis is a fantastic host and i am very glad we meet him and his son .Great beer and atmosphere ,Yannis went out of his way to get us a few bottles of Prosco as it was end of season what a great guy .It will be my first stop off when we return thanks for great service and wonderful company The Brummies

Arrived back in UK beginning of September, had some fab nights with Yannis and Demitre. Quiz night and Bingo we were called the Jackson 5 and always came 3rd and got green shots. They were welcoming and friendly and the breakfasts were lovely, the group trhey had on with the young lad playing electric guitar like Hendrix was amazing. Miss you all and big thankyou for making our holiday a memorable one xx

Hi, My wife and myself have been to Roda a few times but we only went into Big Bens in 2009....what a great time we missed the other times we went to Roda. We are going back to Roda in June and a definate must is to go to Big Bens it is one of the best nights entrtainment in Greece. Just to say thanks for a brilliant time at Big Bens. We really enjoyed Bob Marley, he was brilliant. Hopefully Yiannis, you will have the skill to balance 3 tables in your mouth instead of 2. Dave(my father- in-law), how can we forget you, you must be one of the hardest working people i have ever met, keep it up. We will be back next year for 3 weeks, so i hope to see you then...

Yanis was wonderful, warm and entertaining [even his greek dancing was special]. Dimitris [you bloody foreigner] is very funny. drinks and coctails are wonderful, If you are in roda you must visit the best pub in the villiage

Every time i have been to Roda i have had chance to visit BigBen and have one of their delicious ice-creams but this year unluckily we didnt have chance to go to the Big Ben but we did get chance just to say hi to Dimitris every now and then so it was'nt so bad after all. for me Big Ben gets a 10!!

iv been to Roda 5 years in a row now and every year i find myself back in Big Bens every night of my holliday, i feel as though i'v known all the guys there all my life, even andy's allright. it's one of the most relaxed pubs i'v ever been to. Its so welcoming that I miss them all when im not there and can't wait to go back the next year . Last year my boyfriend came for the first time and he hated flying but even thinking of the flight he's looking forward to our next visit. I hope all went well with yiannis and vasous baby and i cant wait to meet him/her ! and for all you girls out there dimitris will never be taken, he's a great bloke but what a player   p.s Iechyd Da to all, 'Bloody Welshies!'

Big Ben is more of  a family orientated Bar but u can still have loads of laughs there, with the greek dancing ! To all you girls out there Demitri is taken by my best mate Felicity !! Get in there !! Yanis is such a laugh there aswell, really friendly Music is quite good there aswell, so if you want a more quiet night and dont want to hit the more lively bars like Drunken Sailor and Domas then go to Big Bens cause you are still gauranteed a great night !!

I have been a little hard on Roda in the past but I have to say this was an excellent bar. Yannis is a great chap, very funny. Jackie was lovely she worked ever so hard. Demitri was really funny - but he kept staring at my girlfriend... Oh well.

We really loved the cocktails, the greek night is a must!

First place we found after falling off the plane. The main owner dude was well friendly and had a smashing moustache. Drink was plentiful and Wimbledon was on the TV. Came back a few times and drank many cocktails until we moved on to Domus.

AS A REGULAR VISITOR TO RODA WE ALWAYS VISIT THE BIG BEN AND HAVE ALWAYS FOUND THIS TO BE A REALLY GOOD BAR. IT IS NOT FILLED WITH YOUNG PEOPLE WITH MUSIC BLARING BUT RODA IS NOT THAT TYPE OF RESORT. THE STAFF HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY FRIENDLY AND YANNIS THE OWNER IN PARTICULAR ALWAYS HAS TIME TO SPEAK TO YOU AND ALWAYS REMEMBERS YOU FROM THE PREVIOUS TIME YOU WERE ACROSS AND IF SOMEONE DOES NOT COME ACROSS WITH YOU HE IS ALWAYS ASKING WHERE THEY ARE AND HOW THEY ARE. THE DRINK IS REASONABLY PRICED AND THE ATMOSPHERE IS EXCELLENT. THE VIEW FROM THE BAR ACROSS TO ALBANIA IS BREATHTAKING. LOOKING FORWARD TO GOING BACK.
