worst hotel we have ever been to all inclusive a joke its dirty and they don't want to know you unless you spend money don't want any other british person to stay there have e mailed every holiday firm to take it off their website have written to corfu tourist board that's how bad it is it gives corfu and its people a bad name they are wonderfull friendly people
Dont go there! all inclusive option... Horrible hotel, staff and food. My worst holidays ever. Every day the same food, dirty rooms which dont meet standards! Had to pay 50 euro for air conditioning in the room;/ And you cant complain cause staff is rude and dont listen to you. Also no alcoholic drinks provided. Waste of time and money. Will never go back there again and please dont go there cause you gonna come back dissapointed!
Dont even go there

ROOMS UNDERSTANDABLY BASIC, BUT COULD DO WITH A GOOD CLEANING. (ASK FOR NEW BUILDING). WE PAID FOR FOUR ROOMS ONLY GOT THREE (TWO WITH NO AIR CON). COMPLAINED AND EVENTUALLY GOT MOVED TO THREE OTHER ROOMS WITH AIR CON (AT 50 EUROS PER ROOM A WEEK). DID NOT PERSIST WITH FORTH ROOM BECAUSE OF THE COST OF AIR CON , THIS ALSO HAPPENED TO ANOTHER FAMILY THE SAME DAY WE ARRIVED. (TWO ROOMS PAID FOR NOT USED BY EITHER FAMILY AND THEY STILL INSISTED NO EXTRA ROOMS AVAILABLE).£££. BE CAREFULL WITH YOUNG CHILDREN THE SUNBEDS HAVE SHARP BOLTS STICKING OUT . WENT TO LOOK AROUND THE NEW BUILDING (WHICH DOES LOOK NICE AND CLEAN),FOUND A DOOR WHICH LED ONTO THE ROOF NOT ONLY UNLOCKED BUT LEFT OPEN (NO BARRIERS JUST SHEAR DROP ON TO CONCRET). FOOD OK, BUT VERY LITTLE CHOICE, MAIN PART OF YOUR MEAL IS PLONKED ONTO YOUR PLATE BY ONE MEMBER OF STAFF (OTHERS OK BUT DONT ASK FOR EXTRA PORTIONS, IF LOOKS COULD KILL). YOUR SWEET HAS NO CHOICE, ONE DAY YOU GET JELLY THE NEXT YOU GET MELON THE NEXT YOU GET JELLY YOU CAN WORK THE REST OUT FOR YOURSELF. WE HAD ONE GOOD NIGHT OF ENTERTAINMENT THE REST WHERE REALLY EMBARRASSINGLY BAD. WEATHER WAS FANTASTIC, MET SOME REALLY NICE PEOPLE WHICH MADE OUR HOLIDAY BEARABLE.
When you go to Telemachos (or Tilemachos) hotel remember that it is 2 * hotel, so do not expect 5* luxury and you will be fine. I stayed there for 2 weeks with 2 children (6 and 8 year old). The staff and management were very nice and helpful. That hill everyone is writing about is not really that steep. I found it very charming and picturesque; there are a lot of olive trees, fig and pomegranate trees, grapes and huge cactuses. There is not much to do in the hotel, the pool area was reasonably clean. Food was OK, but we only had breakfast in the hotel. There is a bus stop nearby, you can get a No 7 bus to Corfu town. The only problem I had was that cleaning ladies did not have a habit of locking doors and windows, so I would advice not to keep anything valuable in your room.
Not long got back from a week at tilemachos hotel in dassia. it was the worst all inclusive holiday i have been on yet!!!!
Just got back from my WORST holiday ive ever been on in my life with my partner 1st holiday with out the kids it was terrible, RUDE is the only word i can say about the staff , there was a male receptionist who was very very rude to me and friends we met, we complained and were told he was being sacked from his job but he was still there as we were leaving so no action was taken. they dont know how 2 clean the state of our room when we first got there was disgusting. The hotel rep was not helpful in anyway possible they wont be just me thats complaining many english were unhappy with the hotel. Food i cant tell u how bad it was i wud not feed it 2 my dog. Mash potatoes on the one occasion was more like custard,it was the holiday from HELL! i would not reccomend this hotel to anybody. Basically alls i can say is that this hotel needs shutting down.We will be taking the matter further by writing to olympic head office and watch dog.
This hotel is the worst I have ever stayed at :
Holiday at the Tilemachos Hotel was the best holiday me and my nan had. i'm hoping to take my mum and brother next summer. The hotel is situated on top of a steep hill but good for some excersise. I recommed this hotel to all ages. The beach was stoney but ok. Shops were in walking distance and the bus to corfu town was 1 euro and took about 15-20 minutes on the no.7 bus. The bars and restaurants in dassia were good. Meals at the hotels were not so nice at breakfast but the lunch and dinner meals were excellent. Rooms were very clean and tidy.
Okay me and my friend hadn't been on holiday without parents before so it was all new experiences. The first thin i will mention is the very steep hill to reach the hotel not great when you are going out all the time up and down like a yoyo. The Staff were very friendly when we arrived which was very early morning. We were very disappointed with our room when we got there as it was very much like a box room. Anyway we decided we'd rather spend our money on activates than pay €50 for air conditioning in the new building.(Plus thats only really for full board guests). And good job we didn't pay as it was really cold at night.
Later that morning we went for breakfast am all i had was tined peaches cos the food was not great at all. After out Holiday Rep talked about the activities around the island and some History, so knew alot about
The entertainment in the hotel was a bit rubbish mostly the same every night. Plus it went on till 1am in the morning which was not great. The pool area was really nice, with the pool bar too, which stayed open till 1pm. We met some really nice people I the hotel so that made our stay a lot nicer. Make friends as soon as you arrive; it’s nice to see familiar faces throw the duration of your holiday. The Staff were a little strange, but nice.
Oh didn’t like the cleaning much and they changed your towel ever 3 days, so you may want to take extra towels.
Overall this is an ok Hotel if you’re just looking for bed, if your one for luxury then this isn’t for you.
this was by far the worst hotel i have ever stayed, the food was disgusting and there was hardly any choice, the staff tried their best ruin our holiday and were extremley rude, if your young beware they will dislike you even more(especially the night staff man). we was ment to have a family room that slept 4 people, there was three of us and we had to put most of the furniture from the room on the balcony so we could get our suitcases in it was that small. one of us was without a pillow and sheet for the first 2 nights even after complaining 4 times. when we arrived we were given our room only to be told the next morning that we would have to move if we didnt get air conditioning.we also payed extra to have a late room which we found had only two beds and there was three of us.
We were all inclusive. We had a good holiday at this hotel except for the 9.30pm closing of the free bar. just as the entertainment started. tried to stack up table with drinks but were told that we could not do this. food was good. didn't like the way people were being told off so much by the staff. it was like being back at school. we were lucky we paid extra for air conditioning and had one of the new rooms. i pity anyone who had the old rooms. no good for anyone with walking problems. beach terrible stoney. been there once enjoyed but would not go back.
the entertainment was non-existant ( george the piano man), and it is a rip off for the air conditioning. But at least that handsome gorgeous night porter was the one to fit it for us.Ladies take note, he is always teasing the women by flexing his muscles whilst cleaning the pool, fag dangling on his lower lip and plastic bag in hand, whilst killing bugs in such a manly way. Andreas you look like your dog has just been ran over, every day we were there, you know it takes alot more muscles to frown than to smile.this was you George looked very fetching posing in the garden in his cow boy hat. The staff there have to really get over their fear of children and embrace them for they were the only source of life there. And if people want to dress up at night, please feel free to because we were made to feel like the royal family coming to see the peasants in ball gowns. And if certain members of staff recieve letters, it is only manners to write back YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE !!!! if you want the holy ones of fashion to grace your humble abode again !!
Ciao Giavanni , I will be in touch. Momma says hi !! love Bambino xx
the holiday was brilliant, and the night porter who cleans the pool is absolutely gorgeous.there is a rumour going round he does back flips into the pool in the middle of the night, we were very disappointed as we didn't see this. Ladies, if u do have the pleasure of viewing this greek god in action, please take a picture for women to lust after all over the world !
hi,sarah and i got back from dassia about 5 weeks ago,i would recomend anyone to stay at the telemachos we have been there twice now and both times realy enjoyed it.the staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms we have stayed in have been spottlesly clean.it is a lovely atmosphere at the hotel and we have made lots of friends the hill is a bit of a pain but its good exersise i suppose.i would recomend you go to the blue bay bar its on the beech at the far end about a 15 min walk but worth it.you will find it very friendly with some good entertainment and music.the food here is exceptional and the staff are brilliant especialy akis, lette, mario and starthis. we will defo be visiting again.
Apart from missery guts (Andreas hopefully been sacked by now) it was a great holiday!!! for what you pay you cant have any complaints really. Malina you r stunning and if you boyfriend dont ring you again i will give you all my love hi to everyone i met and mario can i have your black shirt? the hill can b a bit of a pain but once you r at the bottom you will find the sea a 5 min walk and it is lovely.

We stayed at Telemachos hotel 6th August this year, myself(30), hubby (29) and three children 3,6,7. This holiday was fantastic. The hotel was spotlessly clean, staff friendly, pool lovely and food plentiful, although I admit not much variety. We stayed B&B basis and payed to eat in hotel 3 evenings (8euros were adult) and you just join in with those with all inclusive and can eat and drink as much as you wish. We found this ecxellent value. There is a menu in the morning so youcan work out and plan your day and decide where you will eat. Only think I was slightly dissappointed with was the hotel advertised air conditionaing and when we got there only some rooms had it so that was a shem. We hired a fan however. The rooms were cleaned every day to a good standard. I am glad we were not all inclusive and would not recommend you upgeade, its not worth it, the meals are so cheap you might as well save your money.I would definatly stay at this hotel again.
We are booked into the Tilemachos Hotel 6th September 2004 on a bed and breakfast basis. It appears to have conflicting reports as to the friendliness of the staff etc. Would it be worth upgrading to all inclusive when we get there. We have heard that the bar closes 9.30pm with all inclusive, have they changed this, or is it still the same. How far are we from the beach and local tavernas.
