We stayed in the dominoes as a group of seven on a big family holiday in july 03. It was great. Although the apartments are a slight distance from the main strip this was not a problem. We were far enough away to lose the noise but not so far as to feel out of the way. This family business was run very well and we felt very welcome. My parents (who are seasoned greek travellers) have stayed there on two separate occasions and still have urges to go back so all I can say is it must be good. Clean, safe, friendly..excellent!

Oh Nellies!! Nellies!! Now every time I hear the Cha Cha I think of you! Nellies is by far the craziest, most welcoming and fun bar on the strip. I just couldn't stay away (possibly something to do with the barmen!?) The ents were great, funny no matter how many times they were seen. If you want a 'proper' night out don't go anywhere else. I stayed right up the other end of Ipsos but it was DEFINITELY worth the hike down there every night.

Overall had a great time in Monaco's. Was a really good place to end an evening with, always made me smile. All the staff we really friendly and were more than happy to get us dancing on the bar (in thongs!!)practically every night, so one for the lads I guess!! The foam party was cool, although the amount of broken glass was dodgy and I got a few injuries. Suggest plastics?? The staff dealt really well with the sleazy types, therefore making it a great laugh for all. The photographer also gave us lots of great memories!!

Have now been to aqualand twice, once when I was younger, then as an adult. If anything I enjoyed it 2nd time round! Have been extensively upgraded, which makes it even better. Are rides suitable for everyone. Food a little expensive, but not a huge problem. We went in a group of seven and thouroughly enjoyed it, would recommend to anyone! We went by ourselves, works out cheaper and is easy enough to find (well signposted.)One thing I would say is slap on the suncream, very exposed and the fun of it does make you forget!!

It was certainly interesting, added a little culture to our otherwise boozy holiday. The walk to the top of the fortress is quite something if the heat is intense but well worth it. We got some fantastic photos. Give it a try.
