We arrived at the Nikos apartments in Sidari in the early hours of the morning in a small van with a man that hardly spoke any English! We went to the welcome meeting where we met our rep Kelly and signed up for a few excursions. During the course of the week we saw our rep in and out of work. By the middle weekend my partner was ill and our rep helpedus out a lot. Kelly was excellent - can't fault here. Question for you - do all the coach drivers in Corfu drive FAST???
We went to Sidari for two weeks (5th-20th Sept) In the first week we had three days of rain, thunderstorms and not forgetting powercuts! Two days before we went home it was so hot that we couldn't sit out by the pool between 11-4! Good time to go away if you don't many kids being around!
Went on the North Island tour from Sidari through Kassiopi, Gouvia, to Corfu town to watch the planes arrive and see Mouse Island. Then onto Achillion Palace, went to the Kumquat factory, didn't try any of the liqueurs! Then to Palekostrista for our lunch at the restaurant with very bad waiter service! An extremely long day especially as it was raining so we didn't get to see all the sights!!!
Stayed here for two weeks, very quiet, lots of space for relaxing by the pool or swimming. Not very lively at night!
