This was our first visit to Corfu and the Marylin apartments and we were not disapointed. The place was lovely. A very good size pool excellent maid facilities. The studio we stayed in was basic but perfect for our base. Everything we needed was there. No complaints. The staff were very freindly and very helpful. I would recommend this resort to anyone. It is just outside Sidari and although there have been some comments made about the distance to the town it is a pleasant walk
Not a bad trip, but not fantastic. A lot of time spent on the coach and I would recomend you do this trip early in you holiday. Our guide Sofia was great, realy clued up. The Achillean palace was ok but you have to pay extra to get in which we were not told. Only 3 euros but never the less a bit of a liberty. As we had hired a motor scooter and bombed about the island prior to going on this trip, Sophia was its saving grace as she was a lot of fun. All in all I can not recommend this wholeheartedly. They portray this as the 'Grand Island Tour' and at anything between 45-75 euros per couple you would be much better off to hire a car or a bike and do it yourself - don't book through the tour operators like we did. They can be almost double the price - shop around
It has slides, water, sun etc. Say no more fantastic day out. Watch out for the bloody timeshare people as you go in. They are not pushy but if they get their hooks into you say goodbye to up to 4 hours
I have to say we ate here and the food was the best on the island. 3 course meal for 4.90 and 5.90 euros depending on steak or swordfish, lobster salad or garlic mushrooms. It was fantastic value and well cooked. Service left a little to be desired. A smile from one or two of them would not have gone a miss.
Good food, fair price - on a par with what was around - excellent waterside location and nice friendly service
basically - football - down the pub - s**g a bird - fu@k off. sidari is ok if you want to watch british football, buy mcdonalds and imitation gucci / oakley stuff. blackpool with a bit more sun. the biggest down side is the british tourists - no wonder we have such a crap reputation throughout europe. it's greece for gods sake! if i wanted cheese and onion crisps and watneys red barrel, p**s off to clacton. having said that if all you want to do is get pissed on british beer and pay through the nose for it sidari is the place. having said all that. mooching around does bring up some little gems here and there. but if its greece you want try places like kassioppi or arillas
