FOR TRUELY GREEK FOOD, TOP SERVICE AND FANTASIC VALUE FOR MONEY JANIS IS THE PLACE TO GO, AS A HOLIDAY REP I WAS OFTEN ASKED WERE WAS GOOD TO EAT AND BELIEVE ME THIS IS GOOD!! SEA VIEW, FAB FOOD AND SO CHEAP
US REPS WERE THERE AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK!!!

Visited Corfu last Aug(2002) for the third time been travelling to greece regularly for the last 18 years and i can honestly say some of the best food i have tasted (allthough not authentic greek) has been Janis, and the menu has been designed to cater for all needs, lovely people, hot food (rare in greece) and good sorry excellent value for money, dont miss the opportunity!!

Last visited Janis on our hols in 2001. We are still talking about the seafood starter. Watching the sun go down whilst eating the fab food is the best experience - we made a memory that night. Maybe more expensive that some of the other restaurants but even if you go once - GO! Waiters were great - especially when they also work at Illusions and serve you great cocktails later on in the evening!!

always thought this restaurant was the best in kassiopi but this year food and standards seem to have slipped and very overpriced(must have changed chef) maybe. Other restaurants may not have the views of janis, but the food is certainly better in certain other restaurants.

You'd have to be mad not to enjoy everything about this restaurant. I also ate at the Three Brothers, which was nice, but not a patch on this place. It was one of the best restaurants i've been to in Corfu. The service was spot on every night we ate there (which upon discovery was every night).We saw the same faces, sat in the same places for dinner every night, all having a great time, in great surroundings, being served by courteous and friendly staff. Says it all really.

we found janis to be over priced and seemed to be living on its reputation preffered the three brothers much better view food service and value also try don's best breakfast in kassiopi and cery freindly also good evening meal

Really good place by the beach, if you can't find a meal to suit you then you must be extremely fussy and shouldn't bother going on holiday!!!

Janis is a restaurant to savour. What they do with food is a dream come true, but don't eat for the day before you go there. If Janis' was down the road, I would visit it regularly.
