Panorama

Restaurants in St George Sth

click to enlargeclick to enlargeThe Panorama is the same management as Dora Apartments opposite. We ate frequently at Panorama and tried several different dishes. I liked the Greek salad and the Chefs salad which were just right for lunch. Evenings tried kebabs, Beef Stifado, fish. all were very enjoyable, ample portions and friendly relaxed atmosphere. Some evenings just strolled over for a coffee and Metaxa night cap and watched the world go by. There is a night club opposite called Oh La La(sic), which is not too loud to spoil your enjoyment and quite entertaining watching younger teenagers trying to sneak in.

We have been visiting St George on the South for the past 5 years on long weekend breaks.  We always have breakfast at the Panorama restaurant.  The staff are very friendly and helpful -nothing is ever a problem.  The breakfasts are always excellent.

Hope you enjoy Panorama as much as we do.

We spent a fab two weeks in St.George last summer and after having tried most of the restaurants in the first week - ate every day at the Panorama thereafter!! The food was excellent, well presented, the service was good and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. Not to mention the fabulous uninterrupted views across the bay and the wonderful sunset. The lovely family that run the restaurant also have the Dora Studios in the Thomson brochure. We went to look at these and they were nice, clean and centrally located with a great swimming pool. All in all a fab place & a restaurant not to be missed

We spent a lovely two weeks in St George's South. Of all the restaurants we visited, Panorama was by far the best. The food was delicious, and great care was put into all the dishes. The view from the garden terrace over the sea was wonderul - especially when watching the glorious sunsets. Most of all, the service was the best we experienced on the island. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and we spent many relaxed evenings enjoying the atmosphere. Simon recommends the Kleftico - delish!

Just come back from holiday June 2003 and this was my favorite of all the many restaurants that there are in the area all of the staff are very friendly and welcoming even on our first visit nothing was too much trouble and they made a reall fuss of my 9 year old son who was with me. Good views as you would expect with a name like this. Will definately call in again when I come back.
