Hi all,
we went to corfu ipsos twice last year and we loved it. 4 of us are heading back on the 30th june staying at the jason hotel. any1 going at that time and staying in ipsos its mad. xx
I can confirm that Sidari is a great place for a family although it does have a lot of nightclubs for people over 18!! There is Aqualand nearby where children will have the time of their lives, not to mention adults too. There is also a McDonalds in this resort. Let me know how you get on by email if you like on laura@needham1979.freeserve.co.uk
IT WAS DEADLY GOING BACK NEXT YEAR 4 SURE IPSOS |
Its pretty hot in July and I wouldnt be surprised if there were also a lot of insects that bite also
Cannot complain about visiting Sidari in July as I found it to be exquisite to say the least. Its gonna be hot hot hot and dont you forget it peeps
bect time to visit i think is july, reason being because i went in july and we had a heat wave in the first week in the 90's! how much better can ya get.
This place was great. At home Im just an ordinary Joe wth no money to my name but on holiday in Sidari I was what you may call the Master of Ceremonies. You could find me MC'ing the night away into my invisible mic and prancing around Calypso dressed from head to toe in a fake white adidas under the pulsating strobe lights. Man, i was wickedy wicked to the max!!!!! I know i could only afford 1 drink which had to last all night but thats all anyone under 22 could afford, i mean, do you know how much fake Gucci sunglasses cost? 8 euros, and thats a lot for 17old chav from essex.
hmmmmmmmm that night is really hazy! are you the guy that bought us shots?? was it tequillas??
A brill time to visit maybe the best!!! going again in a month or 2 just cant get enough!!!! Great time for a tan with a gentle breeze. Doesnt get much better!!!
Got to Kavos July 1st and it was over 100 degrees! Weather was stunning, absolutely wonderful, over 100 everyday with a lovely breeze!
Myself and my friend suzy went at the begining of June and had a lovely time so we are going back on the 15th July also. We're 23, there are mixtures of ages though, not all youngsters, hopefully see you there.
We are staying at the Nikos Apartments in Sidari (not to be confused with a more down market Nikos Apartments in Roda). We know the person we booked it with and these apartments come highly recommended. Not long to go now & looking forward to nice relaxing days by the pool and a few bottles wine on the balcony.
I will be in Sadari with two of my mates from 15th July for 7 nights. Never been there before so we are hoping there is a good mix of bars, clubs and restaurants. Also very much hoping that Sadari is not tainted by the usuall louts as this is why we have avoided Ibiza/Magaluf, 25 seems to be too old now even for those places! Hope this is not a couples place as 3 lads would probably look out of place! Can somebody please let me know if this is the case?
This is for Stuart Mac who is going to Sidari on Sunday(?) 11th of July. Myself and my family are also going to Sidari but we are going on Monday the 11th of July. I am 16 and my sister is 18 and we are also hoping that the nightlife is going to be good!! As for drinking we are not sure about this but we think that it will be fine to drink over there as the licensing laws aren't like they are over here! if you have any more questions we will be happy to try and help you.
july is a great time to go to corfu it is so hot its so hot that me and my friend got really bad sunburn on our legs and it is really hard to get the sun on your legs but about 5:oopm thir was a cool breeze we loved that tim but i would watch out when you go on the beach thats the tim we really got burnt but corfu is a lovely place to go exspecially sidari !!!!!!!!!!!we will be definatly going back around july again love laura xxxx
July is brilliant its the best, best time to get a tan.All the clubs are the best (CHEERS) the djs are the best and the prs the are so nice im going back over in september hope they still remember me
We have just got back from Arillas (July 2004). Great temperature, in high 20s to high 30s most days and there was always a nice cooling seabreeze at night.
I went to ipsos last year in August it was manic the streets were full and the bars was, we returned this year(last week) and there wasn't many people in the bars the buisest bar was AA and that got busy abouut 3.30am. I am going back next year but i will defo go back in August.
Went to Kavos in June Last year and it was absolutaly boiling, even at sometimes when we went out at night, we couldn't stop sweating. I'm expecting it to be alot hotter & alot more busy in July. Corfu it's self to me wasn't that nice a place (Found Crete alot nicer)but that was my first impression on the coach. The 2 weeks there though (in Kavos) were amazing. Three couples went and we had a right good time.
Thats why were back again this year -July 5th-19th, staying at Barbara apartments near to Stavros. Heard it's quite a walk to centre but it's the only place we could get couse everything was fully booked.
I WENT TO IPSOS LAST YEAR AND IM GOING AGAIN IN JULY IT'S REALLY GOOD THERE THE NIGHT LIFE IS WICKED AND DASSIA IS REALLY NICE ESPECIALLY THE BEACHES AND THERES A GREAT ENGLIGH PUB CALLED SHSKES THAT DOES SOME GREAT MEALS. GREECE IS VERY BASIC YOU GET WHAT U PAY FOR REALLY.
July is the best time to go the wether is so hot!!! Just the way i like it got a FAB tan!!!! The only thing i could fault is that the last day of my holiday (1st August) It rained!!! Its not too busy either its just right. I liked it that much inm going back again in July next year!!!!
July is definately the best time to visit. We visited from 20th July to 3rd August and you could see the difference in terms of how busy it was becoming by the start of our second week.
We preferred the first week as it was busy but not too busy - always plently of room on the beach, no waiting to be served in resturants etc.
One downside was the fact that during our last two days we had no sun but thunderstorms (August 1st & 2nd) need I say more.
JULY FOR ME ANYTIME!!!!!!
