| have just come home from st george south and for the last 5 nights have been at mad mikes till dawn (well almost!!) elea, sharon and johnny love you all!!! my daughter and myself have had the best nights at the bar we have loved very minute. the music, the cocktails, and oh!! not forgetting the village wine (mines a large one with soda > johnny!!!) the best rose wine in the resort. mad mike thanks for your wonderful sense of humour you are a diamond. elea you are a chip off the old block. and johnny, what can i say!! the other reason my eyes go glazed,, i couldnt keep them off you!!!!
if there was only one reaon why i would go back to st george it would be because of these beautiful beautiful people. however, i will be going back next year as st george is the best place ever. thanks for making us so welcome. roll on july 2006 see you then xxxxxx

| The Kamelia Studios are extremely basic, however, Basil, Andromahi and Paul were fantastic. Basil you are a wonderful man and make the best Frappe around. The pool is quite easily the best in St George. It is by far the cleanest safest pool in the resort.. I cannot wait to go back next year. I doubt ill be staying at the apartments but I will be at the pool everyday Just for the company of the owner and the wonderful people who congragate there!!! There were so many people who stay there year after year I cannot wait to be one of them!!!
I came home this morning and feel very strange that Basil is not making me the first cup of coffee of the day.
Olympic holidays have used the apartments this year as an overflow. That is why it hasnt been in the brochure.
The Rep is extremely unhelpful and unapproachable so with a bit of luck she will not be there next year!!! Basil and Family, you made our holiday. Thank you!!!!!!! |

| my daughter and myself have eaten in a different restaurant every night. (to test them all out!!)
im sorry to say that this was the worst one i have ever eaten in. the service very slow, the food vile (left a full plate) and the most expensive!!
my vegetarian friend asked for the veggie pasta special. she asked three times if there was any meat in it. three times she was told no.
she took her first mouth full and there was ham in it.
 we waited 3/4 an hour from ordering to serving. and the bill at the end of the night was a c**k up. oh and the cover charge (bread) is the most expensive (1.50 euro) because the bread is toasted. i will never eat there again!!!  |

This was the best restaurant Ive eaten in. The best Kleftico and spag bol (daughter!) in the resort. also the cheapest. The service efficient. Very Friendly and nothing was too much trouble. This will be top of the list for dinner when I return to St George next year!! |
Olympic Holidays - (Tour Operators on Corfu)

| I have just read all the other opinions of this tour operator and i have to agree with all the bad things that have been stated.
I got to Corfu airport at 5.10 am. we waited an hour for the baggage to come through. when we got outside, there was no rep to take us to our accommodation . I hired a taxi ( 40 euro) when i got to my apartments the owner asked me why I didnt come on the coach? I told him that there was nobody to meet me..
The owner stated that he would have a word with th Rep. I didnt see the Rep for 2 days. When I finally laid eyes on her, she did not acknowledge me once. (even after the owner told her who I was) I didnt see her again for a further 2 days. Still no acknowledgment. No info was given for the coach back to the airport. When I found out when it was coming (from the other guests) it was too early. I used a taxi again.
I will never use Olympic Holidays again and will spread the word. I agree that there are good reps for the company and I do not like to tar them all with the same brush, However, this one how dare can she call herself a rep!! it beggars belief... From Now on I will book and arrange my own holidays now as I believe that if you want a job doing properly, do it yourself!!! |
