kavos was absolutely amazing and we are going back next year coz we loved it so much! ionian sea view apartments were much nicer than we expected but please bear in mind that we are 3 17 year old p**s heads who would have slept in a bin if we had to! we were told that these apartments were the nicest in kavos which was prolly true as they were well looked after! the staff were all pretty friendly. theres a woman on reception with a muzzy, shes hard to take at first but shes alrite really!
be warned not to break or damage anything as you will get charged extortionate rates!we took a big outside table candle with us (dont ask!) and had it on our balconcy table, the wax burnt out and the whole candle holder went on fire so our intelligent blonde friend poured sprite on it and it exploded (people thought there was fireworks going off) the table had a big melted hole in it an we got charged 60euros for a s**tty little patio table that would be no more than a tenner down b&q!!
ionian sea view is away from the main strip in kavos but a taxi into town cost 6euros which aint too bad, make sure you negotiate the price before you set off coz they could charge you 20! we never had this problem but we were warned of it!! being away from the strip wern't a problemo for us as the people in the hotel were all young appart from the unfortunate family or two!the hotel gets a bit rowdy when people crawl in after a nite out this can be any time really, we got back at half 9 one morning went out for a fag on the balcony before bed and there was a family on their balcony eating cereal!
just becoz the hotel is in aspro kavos and not in actual kavos does not mean that it is suitable for families in any sort of way unless they are chavvy families still up the party life!
i took £550 spending money for 2 weeks and i ran out with two days to go and was slightly fooked.to be fair i did spend it stupidly on alot of pizza (which is 24 hour at the ionian, makes a beast of a breakfast!)stoopid inflatables and random hats and whistles from the gypos! next year i am prolly going to take about 800-900 so i can do some excursions and not have to worry about spending money willy nilly!!!
if you love getting s**t faced and dancing all nite long ya'll fookin love kavos!everyone there is dead laid back and there for an amazin time. best holiday of my life and will never be beaten... untill next year possibly!! adios! xx
