Went to three little pigs a few years ago whilst visiting Sidari, the food was good but the entertainment was fantastic. When I first went to this restaraunt I had no idea there would be greek fire dancing and plate smashing!!! They set the floor on fire quite near to the tables were people are eating, so if you were like me and had fire behind your chair be careful not to pull your chair back otherwise the chair will catch fire with you in it! Overall it was a brill experience, and I found it quite traditional and would recommend it!
Hi, Just wondered if anyone could tell me if Sidari is still as good as it's always been. In other words is it still for all ages, and is it still family and couple orientated and not turned into an 18-30 type resort like Kavos? I like a good nightlife as much as the next person and i know the nightlife is good in Sidari, but just hope it's not getting a bit over the top like places like Kavos. Anyone who is in a couple or who has a family and has been to Sidari in the summer of last year, your comments would be much appreciated!
Thanks x
Hi Anne, I have been to Sidari a few times now, both times with my fiance, even though we don't have children, we always thought it would be a decent place to take kids if we had any. There are always families there with smaller and older kids, i think Sidari has got something for everyone of all ages. There are plenty of trips and activities to do as well during the day if you want to get out and about and see more of Corfu. Corfu's 18-30 destination is Kavos which is situated at the opposite end of the island well away from Sidari, so anyone going for a boozy holiday goes there, leaving those who prefer a quiter nighlife with activities and plenty to do in Sidari. I think you will enjoy it. Hope this helps!
Can anyone tell me how far these apartments are in minutes to Sidari centre, and are they nice apartments?
Going to these apartments in June and wondered how much they charge for air con? and do they provide safety deposit boxes for a fee? Please help very excited about this holiday!!!
Hi, going to Marilena Apartments in June 2005, wondered if anyone knew how much the air con costs each week and whether there are safety deposit boxes provided and how much they cost? Has anyone stayed at these apartments and if so are they good? Thanks x
To Lisa, the Marilena apartments are literally in the resort centre, they are set back off the main strip, which is literally a 5 second walk onto the main strip. The nearest bar is at the bottom of the road that the Marlilena is on it's called the Siesta bar, and it was really good. They do play karaoke there till the early hours of the morning and the drinks are a little more expensive than most places but the guy they had DJing there was such a laugh!!
