Also whatis the buses like and how long would the journey be on bus to Corfu town?
Thanks again.
Does anyone (Wendy Robinson in particular) Know if the Hotel supply Bath Towels to the apartments, or do we have to take our own. If we do have to take our own is there anywhere were we can use a washing machine or a laundry service.
I have just come back from Sidari and had a great time.
We stayed in the Beach Star Appartments which were excellent. The staff in the bar area make your holiday. They are so polite and just want you to relax and have agreat time. if you go say hello to Anthony and Anthe, they are the nicest people you will meet, they are so helpful and always cheerful, they work so hard.
The beach was a bit smelly and I don't think I would have gone it, there is a waste pipe going into the sea at one point.
Don't give the old guy with the donkey any money,(he sits opposite McDonalds)heuses the money for fags and booze.
Belores serves good food and plenty of it, but I did prefer Buddies, although it is a long walk in that heat, so take your time if you do visit, but it is worth it. If you do go have a look in some of the supermarkets on the way there. We found some bargains such as inflatables and handbags. Don't plan on buying your perfume from Corfu or the airport in Corfu it is as expensive if not more expensive than home. The duty free shop at Corfu Town airport is not up to much either, shop at the airport at home for perfumes, and the shops on the Island are just as cheap as the airport.
But whatever you do have agood time, sit relax, soak up the sun and let the world go by. How I envy you.
We could not buy ciggies on the plane. But they are very cheap on the Island anyway.
