hello i am mr bruce my wife and i have just come back from dassia with a lovely suntan pity we had to come home as it was so enjoyable, we visited a taverna called Yannis it said it was 300 metres away but it is longer than that although when we got there our meal was beautiful and Yannis was a perfect host and made us feel like long lost relatives, we met him a few times during our stay and what can i say but what a very nice man so if you stay in Dassia you should at least once visit this taverna.

We first discovered Anis Grillroom (Taverna) back in 1993 and were frequent visitors throughout the nineties. The food is excellent and among the best on Corfu. Specialities include Veal in red wine sauce or try the spaghetti bolognese, I challenge you to finish it! the portions are so big!! Anis and his wife Litsa are genial hosts and will welcome you with open arms. We hope to go back this year as we are visiting Kassiopi in June (2003), wouldn't miss it.

Anis & Litza fed us very well for a fortnight - Joe & I didn't find anywhere that was better value for money!! We hope they had a good season and are enjoying their winter break.
