![]() We didn't stay at the Alkion but ate there most nights. The three course set menu at 7 Euros is superb value for money. The food is very good, especially the soups, and the chicken curry is to die for. The staff are brilliant and make everyone welcome. We won't be returning to Sidari but how I wish we could transplant the Alkion to Tsilivi on Zante. ![]()

| i am interested in going to corfu with my 3 yr old son but am slightly worried that there could be lots of stray dogs roaming around, is that the case? i usually tend to go somewhere more busy like benidorm as they have no dogs roaming the streets. so could someone please put my mind to rest on this matter

| Err oops I think I pressed the wrong button, I didn't mean to post "average", in fact I didn't mean to comment at all - just reply to Lee!! From what I have seen in this site and others with traveller comments, the Alkyon / Alkion in Sidari is very highly thought of, and many people go back year after year. I'll be there in a month!!! | |

| Stayed at the alkion hotel May 2004 and are going back October 2006 ( cant wait) The staff are fantastic and the food fab, even though I have two very fussy eaters Andrea made sure they were fed properly every evening. The waiters always have a smile on their faces and entertained us with fantastic greek dancing. A trip to aqualand is a must and will be enjoyed by all of the family. The whole family cant wait for October half term. We visted hotel bel air in Tunisia last year and so wished we were at the Alkion instead!! | ||||||||||

I have been visiting Sidari for over 9 years now and whilst i stayed in the Alkyon for the first two years, the quality and quantity of the food makes it impossible for me to go there on the half board basis that it offers. i would come home unable to fit into any of my clothes!! i tend to go self catering now as i prefer to try different restaurants, but always make a point of returning to the Alkyon for a couple of superb meals, for the evening entertainment and for the well tended pool. Also the staff are some of the friendliest ion Sidari.

| nice hotel nice staff nice place, just really nice. not a bad word to say bout any of it. its close enough to be able to walk to the bars but far enough away to be quiet. the staff cant do enough for you and the food is amazing. i reccomend the greek meatballs. but anything you try will be nice im sure. a nice pool and very clean. rooms big and airy good for those long hot days. all in all i cant fault the time i had here and it was made better by the amazin staff and pucker hotel we were in | ||||||||||
