Just came back from the blue sky apartments had an excellent time the rooms where clean , maybe a little basic but this isnt a problem as its cheap enough to eat out around corfu , found the owners diane and her husband very friendly and helpful , more help than the sunset rep. will definetly be staying here on my next visit to corfu on another note if u are going to corfu i would suggest u book your car hire and trips through the local companies as they are just as good trips/vehicles and a decent price. i hired a 206 for 3 days for 75 euros this was delivered free and collected free as well

AUGUST 2005
![]() Diane and her husband were very friendly and helpful, the apartment we stayed in was very basic and disappointing as we had asked for a balcony, pool view and airconditioning. We didn't get any of the three requests. The apartment itself was very clean and well kept by the cleaner Suzanne. The location was about 20 mins walk to the centre of Sidari and 15 mins to the beach. There was one rule we couldn't understand which was that the sunbeds were only free if you bought food and drink from their bar, we found this was the only place that did this rule. There was a bar further down the road which advertised free sunbeds for everyone! On our final day we had to leave the room by 12 noon, we asked the owners if there was anywhere to have a shower and get changed as our flight wasn't until the early hours of the next morning. They told us we could keep the room for an extra €25.00 we thought this was quite expensive, the only place to have a shower was outside by the pool, the water was ice cold and we had to get changed in the toilets outside, as there was 20 + of us leaving on the same day we thought this was very inconvenient.
As a young couple we would not go back to these apartments.
![]() We found a few restaurants to go to which served lovely food one of which was called "The Three Little Pigs" the food was lovely and very reasonably priced. They also put entertainment on which is worth going for.

The area near the apartments is fine. We were slightly concerned before we went as to what surrounded the apartments but there is nothing to be worried about. There is a slightly larger hotel/apartment complex accross the road and various small restaurants nearby. There was a lovely place up to the right of the blue sky called The Orchard which do lovely salads, baked potatoes, yogart and honey. The apartments themselves were fine, they are clean and contain everything you need. The pool area is nice and clean too and there was alway enough sunbeds available. It is a 10 minute walk to most of the shops, pubs and restaurants but we didn't really bother about this. All the restaurants in this area are nicer than the ones on the main street and would recommend eating there.
