| hi i went o the potamos appartments for the first time 5 years ago on a last minuite holiday witht thompsons.ive been all over europe and ive never met more freindly people than vacillies and chrissa,they and their extended family ! will, make your stay a laugh a minuite and will go out of their way to make your holiday one to remember and i guarantee youll have a fantastic time.
i liked it so much my original t wo weeks turned into a couple of months and ive been back over 15 times over the last few years ,and if youve been there theres a chance youve seen me(the blond lad sitting at the bar who everybody thinks works there lol)
the appartments and sidari are great for old and young alike wether you want a quiet time or a noisy clubbers holiday
there are some exelent restaurants and clubs/pubs and the people are some of the freindliest you can meet.
ill be back there in may so i hope to seeyou there.
ps(ive found over the years that it is much cheaper to book your flights independently and arrange accomodation direct with vacillies anybody who wants a price e mail me bambroughdarren@yahoo.co.uk give me the dates you want to stay and ill get you a price from vacillies.

Last min Booking with Lincoln Travel who were superb in securing a good price for a 10 day stay here, just returned home today 17th September 2005. Apartments were very clean and we had fresh clean sheets and towels four times during our stay.
Although we did not eat meals of an evening there, others did and accessed the bar facilities, pool table and Sky TV throughout the day. Family run business and very happy and willing to help throughout the holidays. We were in Apartment No 13, no number ? unlucky factor - but hell it was a great room overlooking the pool. 2 Bedroom Apartment savail there, that is No 15 and ? No 17.
Late Check out was offered to us from 12 Noon - 6pm for another 20 Euros and their draft beer is only 2.50 Euros a Pint. All in all good accomodation and well placed for the short evening stroll to the fantastic aray of bars and restuarants in Sidari. Our fav was Olympic and drinks of a night was Calpyso, personally.
But you will not be disappointed even the reps do not visit daily you can access a Thomson Rep by phone, text, etc as neccesary on your holiday. Finally, they do a good value all day breakfats I think for 3.50Euros with a drink. The only, only set back is that the wasp season is in full swing so they have breakfast with you and ensure that you all take a good quality mosi spray for application from 5pm - and night, as we saw loads of mosiqs in the hundreds on our sunset walk. Obviously, we were protected, but loads of ravellers seen were well and truly eaten alive.
Enjoy and also although only one child seen for the entire stay, i.e. a toddler with her parents they are welcome. Guests were a mix of all ages but namely UK tourists. Enjoy and report back, Caio. | ||||||||||

We have just returned from 2 weeks at Potamos and we LOVED it!!! Chrisa, Vasilys and Costas are warm, friendly and a great laugh! The apartments are clean and spacious, the pool and bar area are clean and great for the kids. We WILL be returning there next year whether they like it or not hahahahaha!!! The 15 minute walk into Sidari is pleasant and you are greeted with warm smiling faces. The Olympic Restaurant is fantastic, great food and greek entertainment. Make the most of your time there and see the fantastic scenery Corfu has to offer for free - I was stunned into silence at some of the awesome views. One peice of advice TAKE PLENTY MOZZIE REPELLENT - they are carniverous!!!! | ||||||||||

| Potamos Apartments are excellent, the apartments,pool and bar are all kept very clean. Food is excellent. Chrisa, Costas and Vaisali are all wicked and can have a good laff. | ||||||||||

| This will be our third visis, Potomas is VERY clean, the staff are friendly if not mad, slight noise from the road but nothing to moan about, if you are planning a trip to Sidari you cant go wrong. We have seen other apartments out there and I cant believe our luck in getting this one first. The town is small but well equiped, but what we like is that within 10-15 mins walk you can be in real Greece, or in the middle of a lively piss up. | We have been going to the potamos appartments for five years and have become good friends With Chrisa,Vasilis and Costa and we look forward to see them every year, they are friendly they cant do enough for you they go out of there way to make your holiday. The grounds are well kept, they are constantly clearing any litter that may be left by the holiday makers and the pool is kept up to a excellent standard. The accomadation is cleaned six days a week. The snacks and meals that are served are good and reasonably priced. So I can highly recomend these appartments to anybody who wants a quiet relaxing holiday. We have only just come back home from a fortnights holiday at the potamos we areplanning for a return next year with all the familly . | ||||||||||

| Having read all the coments about the potomas apartments on a different site we thourght great nothing but bad reports. we was'nt looking very foward to this holiday and it was to late to cancel. when we arrived our first impressions were WOW. It was clean, our rooms were basic but very roomy we even had a kettle and mini oven. the pool was clean and well looked after and bar was'nt that big but still had a pool table and they showed different movies every day. the location of the apartments were good near a road but didnt realy bother us. better then being near the loud clubs in sidari town. The beach was ok, ignore any one who said there is a sewage outlet that runs in to the sea not true. its a cannel dos'nt smell at all. the beach had alot of water activities to do, u could hire peddal boats and cannoes. lots of nice resturants on the coast. a good resturant we had eaten in was lovely cant remember what its called but the man who worked in there was called DENNIS. very friendly bloke. Just b carefull when walkin to the beach dont go along the main road there's no foot paths. take the short cut through the beach. and dont worry about the stray dogs there realy friendly and dont realy bother you. A good place to go is sidari water park u just pay for what slides u want to go on. aqua land is the biggest water in corfu. an excelant place to stay and visit. enjoy!!! | ||||||||||
