We have just spent a week in Sidari and enjoyed ourselves very much, the resort is very lively and the locals are friendly. Sidari itself is very noisy, not because of clubs but because of the numerous scooters, small bikes and cars very VERY loud stereos ! I wouldn't want to take my small children there as the standard of driving is diabolical and much of the main drag has no pavement, the road is also very narrow. The bars and restaurants we used were mainly very good, I can recommend Baze sports bar (excellent breakfasts, very friendly owners), indian restaurant can't remember the name but it boasts to be the only one that is genuinley Indian, waiters are Greek though......... food and service excellent, also the Venus pool bar, very clean pool.
The beach was good, a trip out on a pedalo is a must to see some of the cliffs, don't get too close though..... they seem to be falling into the sea !
Finally the aprtments where we stayed...... Yannis Village, very clean, everything you need, but too "Hi di hi" for us.
We ate there twice in a week, better than most Indians i've been to in UK, good prices and service second to none.
Very dissapointing, poor service, very average food our least favourite of the holiday.
Excellent food and service, reasonable prices.
Flights were good although seats were the most cramped I've ever had. Transfers were poor, hot coaches with air con that didn't work. Reps seemed to know nothing of the loacl area, one was actually quite rude. I won't Thomas Cook it again !
Location was OK, about 20 mins walk to the centre of town. Apartment basic but clean, (could have done with more towel changes though). Pool was excellent but jacuzzi was never switched on. Kevin is a really nice bloke but his Butlins style entertainment was not our thing ! Bar prices a little higher than most places.
