got back on the 17th july, was the best holiday ever, stayed at the lena studios(kosmar)very clean and roomy, last visited sidari in 1999,yes it has changed, but a holiday is what you make it,as for a filthy beach,b******s blame the smokers using it for a ash tray.sidari,we loved it.
just returned from joylife apartments, our studio was very large and well equiped, cleaned every other day,the pool and bar/resturant were also good, the downside is the location, they say 20min stroll to main beach/centre,more like 30mins at a good pace,i worked it out to be 1.8miles,and to fork out 10 euros there and back would have cost £100 over my two week stay,so i made her indoors walk it!!we still enjoyed ourselfs, and when we left on the 15th of july thay had just repaired the sewer pipe at main beach,so no more leakage/stink.in all a good holiday,oh and corfu airport departure is anarchy, they x-ray your suit cases prior to check in,our dept time was 02.50 and we were still queing at 02.30 to check in,all flights had seperate ques that entered one door, and no priority was given to the timeof your dept flight.so we were delayed due to check in delays.sorry to waffle but there system is total s**t.
