If you go to Roda this year try and take time to visit the Mettallinos pool and bar. It’s small and friendly with a good-sized pool (great for the kids). The owners are a lovely family who will make you feel more than welcome. If it’s a relaxing time you are after this is the place to be.

We stayed at the Meroulla last year (August 2003). These must be the worst apartments that we have ever stayed in. My wife and I have been holidaying in Greece for over 25 years and have never came across anything like this. The place was filthy, the bedding smelt of urine, we got electric shocks from the shower, my bed collapsed, the cooker didn't look like it had been cleaned since ancient times. I don’t think the Meroullla is available in the broacher this year. but if you see it DON'T BOOK

Metallinos is a family ran business. I have been going to the greek islands for holidays for the past 25 years the Metallios apartments and bar is the best place I have been. The family are genuine caring people whose only aim is to ensure that your family have the perfect holiday. its one of thise places that you will simply have to re-visit time and time again. I with my family were there last year for two weeks and we didn't just enjoy the holiday we made realy good friends with Kostas, Anna and Adoni. If you are thinking of booking up have no worries this place come very highly recomended. Scale of 1 to ten I would rate it 20.
