This year was our first time visiting Corfu - boy did we fall lucky. Roda Park is a fantastic place to be, like others we ate there each evening and it really was like being amongst friends. Voula and Costas are really wonderful, warm people and my two children 11 & 14 would begin planning what they wanted to eat for their evening meal as soon as they woke up! I think they debated and planned what they wanted for their last meal for a full week! I was assured that the specials were delicious, there was nothing that my husband and children did not like. I'm a vegetarian and there was plenty of choice for me too ... it was no hardship to have the same dishes more than once during the holiday because they were so tasty. I must also give a special mention to Albert, one of the waiters who is a lovely young man. We're looking forward to seeing everybody again next year.

Sue Wright asked about the Robertos studios and apartments. We stayed in these (came back just over a week ago.) We were in the ones behind the church though there are some on the main road. We also went with Manos as you are too. The apartment was very basic but clean. Have to say the rep we had was rubbish only saw her on the first day, however this will not spoil your holiday, you really don't need a rep. The rep warned us against using the local transport for many reasons, but we did use it and thought it was brilliant - good air conditioning and more like luxury coaches than buses. Also you don't need to book any trips you wish to take with the rep as this works out much more expensive - there are many places you can buy the same trips at much better prices in Roda. The coach trip to Paleo is great value, it also takes you to a monastry, a distillary (free tasting), and the Bella Vista (breathtaking) and all for only four euros each! On the last day of our holiday my 14 year old son had a constant lump in his throat at the thought of leaving and my eleven year old had tears in his eyes too. Brilliant holiday - we arranged to go back again next year before we'd even left. However we won't be using Robertos but only because we found some apartments with air conditioning and a comfy place to sit. You'll be so busy having fun that the apartments should be fine! Enjoy...
