the solaris pool was great and it made our holiday great! you didn't have to pay and entertainment was free every night! the waiters were really friendly and the food was tasty. we saw "double u" and they gave us a CD. they were good singers and we had a lot of fun. the greek dancing was great and we got to join in! yiannis made us laugh and we had the best holiday ever in corfu!! thankyou solaris!!

We happened upon the Solaris apartments a couple of days after arriving in Kassiopi. The free use of the great pool, the excellent food, the overall general atmosphere of the place made our holiday a memorable one. The entertainment was excellent, from the latest films to the "Double U" and Darren May artists to the quiz nights and Greek dancing. The service from all at the bar was 1st class and friendly.

The apartments, Mavronas, were the worst we have ever stayed in and the rep had the nerve to say that the excuse for a bathroom was so fitted out as to be hygenic as to the way the Greeks live. I am surprised we didn't all contract dysentry or any other serious disease. An insult to the Greeks. Five of us had to share a weak tap with a shower head that was dreadful. The fifth bed was a "Put me up" which even the rep admitted he would not sleep in, our 17 year old had to endure it. The pool use was appalling and charged @ E2 per day but fortunately we found the Solaris pool and spent our holiday there which was free. Kassiopi was very good and we would strongly recommend it to anyone and made it possible for us to cope as we only went to the accomodation when necessary. The noise was unbearable throughout our stay in the evenings due to the closeness of the other apartments.

The worst accomodation we have ever stayed in. Greenmould in the drawers in the kitchen.No light in the bathroom.Very low water pressure so showers are very difficult. Smelly and filthy bedding although the sheets were clean every 7 days.Very noisy as near centre of Kassiopi and lots of revellers coming back until 6am.Take towels as we were provided with 4 hand towels for 5 people. No air conditioning though we expected that but it was stifling hot at night and could not cut out noise by shutting windows. Take earplugs!

Had one of our best meals in this place. Service great. Had pasta in tomato and cheese sauce with hot pizza bread to dip, sounds simple but was delicious.

The best service in any of the restaurants we visited and we went to approx 16. Brilliant food and was well looked after.
