Mariana Apartments are great, we just got back after 2 weeks in September 2003. The apartments are about 30 minutes walk from the main town of Sidari, although Costas the owner runs a mini bus in the evenings to Sidari at 7.30 and then he picks you back up at 10.30pm.Should you miss the bus, a taxi ride is only 5 minutes away and will cost you 5 euros (about £3.60). The apartments are very clean and spacious. The family are very friendly. Marianna, Costas wife is very friendly as is their son Spiros, although their other son Stefanos has all on to raise a smile. The Maid, Soula and her two youngest daughters (Joanna ans Christina) are very friendly and they make a splendid job of cleaning the apartments. They also fold your clothes up for you that you have left on the end of your bed. I recommend these apartments 100%. We have booked a further weeks holiday in June 2004. The appartments offer a basic cooker/grill, and incorporate a toilet and shower room, with a spiral staircase to the upstairs. A spacious balcony is also provided and all the apartments have UPVC double glazed windows and doors. There is a pool side bar that is open until you have had enough, and after a few days of drinking the beer and cocktails Spiros will every now and again say this round is on the house GREAT !!. A conprehensive meal service is also provided with substantial portions, aia reccomend you try the special omlette and Marianna's greek salad, the latter would feed two. All in all a great time was had by all. Totally fantastic. Not far away (30 mins walk) is Sunset Beach where you can sit and watch the sun set over Albania, with atmospheric music playing in the background from the bar and restaurant, you must see the sunset. Adrian, these apartments are about 25 mins walk to the canal. You will love these apartments they are clean and tidy. And the people who own them are very nice. Have a good holiday.
