I have been to Roda five times and eat at the Roda Park all the time. No matter how busy they are, they always have time for a laugh and introduce diners to other diners, you can have a debate with half the restaurant, or just have a quiet meal, whichever you prefer.
Costas and Voula and Adonis not only serve good food but they give loads of info on the resort. (who needs a rep when you have them!)

I have been to Roda on holiday about seven or eight times. My mother is an ardent fan of Roda as well and has been about twice a year in the past eleven years.
I can say that the Aphrodite Hotel is good. I have never stayed there but other memebres of my family have. It is directly opposite the beach and on the main road of the small village. The member's of staff there are friendly, especially Tacas.
I have to say that my favourite restaurant is the Roda Park, in the old village. This is now run By Kostas and his wife Voula. The food is very good (cooked by the Demetris) and the staff are very friendly. it is a good place to go for any information about Roda. They are also very fond of practical jokes and get conversations going between half the restuatant. But if you just want a quiet meal, they will leave you alone. Some of the holiday makers have been going to this restaurant for over twenty year!
Hopes this helps anybody thinking of going here on holiday.
I would just like to say that the Roda Park is more than just a restuarant. My mother was bitten by mosquito bites in her eyes this year. They were brilliant with her, checking on her everyday, even offereing to give take out food to her while she was unable to go out in the sunlight. She was also sitting in the restaurant when a family of eight walked past who had eaten at the Roda Park everynight. Costas stopped them (as it was their last night and hadn't had a meal there). When Costas was told that the family had run out of money he fed them all for free! Its good to know that not everybody is interested profit alone. I think they also seem to double as an unofficial tourist information office. I would like to point out that my husband and I have been going there for over ten years. We are both in our late twenties and have no children or tattoo.
