For everyone interested in information on Paradise Apartments.
I have just returned from a weeks holiday staying at Paradise and have to say that these apartments are brilliant. We stayed in a studio which was well designed and spotlessly clean. The kitchen facilities were also a surprise - a kettle, two rings, a mini-oven and grill, which in my experience was well above average for greece. The complex itself has a reception - which is not 24 hours as stated in the brochure - a bar and swimming pool. Be warned though, there were problems with the pool - young children developed blisters and burns on their feet and legs so many fmailies used the neighbouring pool at Garnavos (10 metres walk) which does have a children's pool. Snacks can also be purchased at the bar at Garnovas. There is however Paradise resturant that serves snacks and meals on the road just before the complex and as a guest you get a 10% discount! We also hired safety deposit boxes from here - they are free!
The complex itself is within walking distance of the beach and the resorts main street - I was surprised how close it was - however, at night we couldn't even hear noise from the entertainment at the bar let alone the noise from the main street thanks to double glazing!

After talking to the reps on the complex they believe the problem is due to a chemical inbalance in the water - they used a tanker to fill the pool and are unsure what was transported in the tanker before! Results have been sent off but members of staff spent every evening in the pool scrubbing and clean. There were no serious cases whilst we were there.
Regarding food we didn't actually eat at the Paradise resturant or the snack bar but I found food prices in resturants along the main street very resonable and there are loads to choose from. Most places offer a wide range of english and greek food.

Yes, we did go with jmc although I don't have children so didn't use the kids club.
However, the kids world rep was really friendly and helpful and all the kids seemed to be having a great time!
