as a bar and a restaurant owner in sidari,i think i can anwser some questions better than most!Firstly sidari is a resort for young,old,couples and families.Theres lots of lively bars and 3 clubs.We have a wide variety of restaurants ranging from Mexican,Indian,Chinese and of course traditional Greek cuisine!!!The main beach is nice,although dosnt look so good in May and October as it tends to rain more then!The sea is really clear and blue,esp around the canal damour area.Agood point for families is that its shallow too.Although Sidari isnt the prettiest part of the island,it still has its charm and is still uncommercialised.so dont be put off by the bad reports,i came here on holiday 11 years ago and im still here!!!!

WE HAVE VISITED SIDARI TWICE NOW.ENJOYED IT SO MUCH WE ARE GOING BACK SEPT 2004.EXCELLENT RESTAURANT FOUND " THE ROOF GARDEN "RUN BY ENGLISH COUPLE LEIGHAN/DARREN. 13INCH PLATE MEALS ""DELICIOUS"",COOKED TO HOW YOU LIKE IT ENGLISH AND GREEK.FRIENDLY STAFF, VERY HELPFUL IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO CHOOSE FROM MENU THEY HELP. ENJOYED A GOOD PINT OR TWO AT " THE RED LION PUB GOOD ATMOSPHERE,EXCELLENT MEALS,DARREN OWNER ENJOYS GOOD CHAT OVER A PINT.
WE HIRED A JEEP TO SEE SOME OF THE GREEK CULTURE,WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR HOLIDAY AND WILL BE GOING BACK YEAR AFTER YEAR.

WE VISTED SIDARI JULY 2003 WAS IMPRESSED BY FRIENDLINESS OF LOCALS.BEACH CLEAN,LOADS OF SHOPS,GOOD NIGHTLIFE.
VISTED RESTUARANT "ROOF GARDEN "ON MAIN STREET,13INCH PLATE MEALS FOOD WAS DELICIUOS.FAMILIES ARE WELCOME HERE ,I NOTICED A KIDDIES PLAY AREA, WHAT A GOOD IDEA.VISIT SUNSET BEACH IF YOU GET THE CHANCE JUST WHEN SUN GOING DOWN.GOOD PINT AT RED LION PUB,RUN BY DARREN.SIDARI MUST BE GOOD HES MADE THIS HIS HOME.PULL ME A PINT,SEE YA IN SEPT.
