Argo (Roula) Studios

These Apartments are advertised as having their own pool - this was not true as the pool is owned by Anna & Spiros. You are charged for laying on the sunbeds.

Apartments are very poor, they were dirty, dangerous and a complete disapointment.

It is advertised as self catering but had no cooking untensils the remainder of the equipment was as basic as you can get.

The cleaner was A acomplete waste of time and I caught her reading through the customer questonaire where I found she had changed one of the boxes from fair to excellent, but she couldn't understand English!!!

I have just returned from the roula studios and can say i had an excellent time. Anne and Spiros were excellent hosts and always made us feel welcome. The area of Benitses was nice and there was enough there to keep u occuppied. The pool area was very clean and well mantained.

I would definatley return to benitses and the Roula Studios, i would like to once again thanks Anne and family for the hospitality.

also while in Corfu you shoudl check out Aqua Land that was an excellent day out, and Casanova's club were anne's son is DJ

Just got back from benitses, staying at the roula studios, lovely resort, great pool and accomadation, staff were very friendly, the place was very clean, food from pool bar very tasty. Please dont be affaird if you have booked a holiday here because you will have a great time.

me and my girlfriend visited corfu for two weeks in july this year and stayed at the roula and argo pool after i read comments from last year i thought we were in for a holiday from hell,but we were wrong the appartments were clean,the pool and area were very clean and pleasant to be around,the food and snacks at the argo pool bar were of a very good standard too.i would like to take this opportunity to thank spiros,anne and children for providing a good service to us while we were visiting you.
ps:i think we will be returning next year but this time we will have the kids so tell jason to get ready to be our nanny : )

I Have also booked to come to the Roula Studios in August and think we shoudl give the benefit of the doubt to the owners. Until we have visited we should try and keep and open mind i have been told that benitses is a very nice resort and that there are many things to do!!!

I would like to reassure anyone who has booked to come to the Roula appartments that it is very different from how it is described last year. My husband and I have rented the pool and bar area this year and have spent a lot of money making it as clean and pleasant as we can. So far this season everybody seems to have enjoyed their time around the pool and we hope this will continue throughout the summer.

Hmm, some friends and I are going to roula studios in july and I can't say it sounds brilliant. If it really was so bad what about getting around corfu without a car? I know you said the reps were useless but did they ever, or offer to, organise transport or help find some for day trips?

Hi, me and my fiance went to the roula studios last june, and i can honestly say that it was the worst holiday i have ever been on. The apartment was Awful, the apartment owner was not nice, the refreshments at the 'snack bar' were poor and the drinks we over priced and not good. the swimming pool was ok (if not a little small) however there were SMELLY NOISEY ducks kept at the side of the pool, the smell was terrible some days. The reps (olympic) were totally unhelpful, the cleaners were bad...so bad we had a room full of ants. When complaining to tour operators you get no apology no sympathy no nothing...it is totally different to the brochure. I was 18 at the time of travel, fiance 22...we didn't want a lively holiday but we wanted a good one....most bars closed really early :( If you have booked a holiday there, sorry you have had to read this...the way we improved ours was by renting a jeep for the whole week and touring the island...eating out at the restuarants along the bottom...and a trip to the water park....the waterpark is defo worth a trip.
