| Yet again a lovely holiday at the Mathraki. This is the 4th time we have stayed there and there is no better place. Clean and comfortable, well run, and the food at the bar is very tasty. All the family are lovely, very friendly and helpful, and we feel realy at home there. It seems that people go back many times after a visit to the Mathraki, and we certainly hope to be going again next year.
Arillas is a place you would never forget, and many visitors amaze us when they say they have been going back for 18 or so years, and have watched the village evolve. Its a beautiful place with lovely people, we love it.

I have just returned to Scotland from an amazing holiday in Arrillas. I had never been but now I have fallen in love with the village and it's people. The Mathraki apartments were brilliant and my parents and I met some lovely people during our stay. I want to say thank you to Akis, Nicole, Sophia and Costas for their hospitatlity and warmth. Every morning I enjoyed nothing more than sitting on my balcony watching the birds, the two cats the giant hens waking up and starting their day, what a beautiful location. I hope you all have a lovely summer and I definetly hope to return to Arrillas as soon as I can.

| We have stayed at the Mathraki 5 times in the last 18mths and I guess you can say that we love staying there! What makes the apartments extra special is Akis and his lovely family who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. You must try Nicolettes Greek omlette made with eggs that could not be any fresher as they are from her own hens! Mmm.....lovely for lunch washed down with a glass of local wine, before returning to the sunbeds by the pool for a lazy afternoon. I love a slow stroll to the beach using the little back road which takes you past some small holdings with their goats, turkeys, fruits and vegetables and the wild flowers growing by the road. This road ends at a traditional taverna in a perfect location to have a drink overlooking the beach. Give the Mathraki a try, it is very good value for money with Greek hospitality at it's best. | ||||||||||

| Just back from a totally relaxing holiday. Akis and his family made us very welcome. The apartments are clean and bright, ours had an oven/grill, and a shower curtain, both a first for us in Greece. The food at the poolside bar was very good and the bar was a good place to start and end our evenings (I can recommend the Zombies). The Mathraki Apartments and Arillas were a real find for us, just what we wanted from a holiday. A quiet resort. | ||||||||||

| I will definatley be recommending these studios to all, they were, in my mind under-rated in the Olympic brochure, the rooms themselves were very spacious with a few home comforts that you rarely see on a trip to Greece ie, shower curtain, bathmat, washing line and pegs! and all the kichen equipment and utensils were brand new... The cleanliness was second to none - there was someone cleaning every minute of the day, but unobtrusively. On arrival, (end May) we were thrilled that they had recently opened a pool bar run by the gorgeous Akis, and shortly after our departure he was opening a snack bar from there which was a shame as the menu looked fantastic and i was promised the first burger!! The studios were run by Akis' parents Costas and Nicole, and although they did not speak a great deal of English they were very friendly and often gave the children (and mums) treats! They made a couple of adjustments for the sake of the childrens safety without being asked - they were just aware which is fantastic, and we did make a couple of suggestions for the future; non slip mats to be placed on the marble steps near the pool, which we were told would go ahead and also a play area/park for the children, they said this would be considered for the future. If you are planning a trip to the beautiful Arrillas, go to the Mathraki Studios and say hi for me! | ||||||||||
