We just got back from arillas staying at the makris on the 2nd October. We had a fantastic time, very peaceful and relaxing would recommend it for couples. The accomodation was excellent staff couldn't do enough for us | ||||||||||

Hi Rowena, We came back from the Makris at the end of july. There are no irons, hairdryers etc.... in the apartments but they are clean and got air-con. but keep your eye on how often they change your bedding, its not as often as stated, unless theyve improved due to a few complaints. Best places to eat. We found the Captains restaurant opposite the manos office on other road very good and very reasonable, also the Sea Breeze and the one next door, the first ones as you hit the beach road and Vasillas on the way down to the beach. The Malibu bar is well worth a visit. Have an evening in San Stefanos too its a bit bigger and nice places to eat and drink. No bank though, nearest i know of is Sidari. Have a nice time and let me know how you found it. | ||||||||||

| We have just stayed for 1 week in a 2 bedroomed apartment in the Makris in Arillas,i can say no more than it was excellent,beautiful clean pool,lovely staff,nice pool bar selling very nice food,ideally situated,it was the perfect place to stay in Arillas.Arillas is a beautiful place with many beautiful resteraunts to eat in a 3 course meal with a jug ofr wine is about £11 for 2.The local people are beautiful and so friendly.I could go on and on but i can just sum Arillas and the Makris as EXCELLENT | ||||||||||

Good value for money, clean and friendly. Most apartments have one big room with three beds, a kitchen with table and chairs (includes a small oven as well as 2 rings), a shower room with toilet (though as is common in Greece no shower curtain) and a good-sized balcony. The pool is a a reasonable size. The apartments are about 10 to 15 minutes walk from Arillas centre and the beach along fairly well-lit roads. Arillas is a pleasant, quiet resort with good sandy beach. Good walking around the area when the weather is not too hot. | ||||||||||

Just got back from the Makris, 5th July 2005, stayed here 4 times now, pleasantly suprised by the pool and poolside bar on this visit! Worried that this may cause it to be not as quiet as previous stays, but still found it to be very quiet and relaxing. The staff are very very freindly and helpful, can't do enough for you. Arilla's is a wonderful place been here 5 times now and already booked another 2 holidays in Arilla's next year. Can't wait, One very happy person. | ||||||||||
