When you go to Telemachos (or Tilemachos) hotel remember that it is 2 * hotel, so do not expect 5* luxury and you will be fine. I stayed there for 2 weeks with 2 children (6 and 8 year old). The staff and management were very nice and helpful. That hill everyone is writing about is not really that steep. I found it very charming and picturesque; there are a lot of olive trees, fig and pomegranate trees, grapes and huge cactuses. There is not much to do in the hotel, the pool area was reasonably clean. Food was OK, but we only had breakfast in the hotel. There is a bus stop nearby, you can get a No 7 bus to Corfu town. The only problem I had was that cleaning ladies did not have a habit of locking doors and windows, so I would advice not to keep anything valuable in your room.

When we arrived and checked in they only gave us three rooms when we had paid for four. If you want air con you have to state this when booking before you go or complain till you get air con but it will cost you 50 euros per room for one week. Sun beds by the pool are old, made of metal and have sharp bolts sticking out. so be careful because you will either fall off them, burn or cut yourself. Pool area is not very clean but then neither is the rest of the hotel. ( apart from the new building ) This hotel has nothing for kids to do apart from play in the pool Hotels entertainment was really bad, so make your own. Staff at this hotel are RUDE and IGNORANT! All inclusive bar shuts 9.30pm on the dot!!! Meal times at this hotel are nothing to look forward to as they are very basic. They dish your meals for you and as for the pudding i hope you all like jelly. Apart from the hotel we had a really good time in dassia the weather was brilliant, the water park is great fun and we met some really nice friends.

| Just got back from my WORST holiday ive ever been on in my life with my partner 1st holiday with out the kids it was terrible, RUDE is the only word i can say about the staff , there was a male receptionist who was very very rude to me and friends we met, we complained and were told he was being sacked from his job but he was still there as we were leaving so no action was taken. they dont know how 2 clean the state of our room when we first got there was disgusting. The hotel rep was not helpful in anyway possible they wont be just me thats complaining many english were unhappy with the hotel. Food i cant tell u how bad it was i wud not feed it 2 my dog. Mash potatoes on the one occasion was more like custard,it was the holiday from HELL! i would not reccomend this hotel to anybody. Basically alls i can say is that this hotel needs shutting down.We will be taking the matter further by writing to olympic head office and watch dog. | |

This hotel is the worst I have ever stayed at : POOR FOOD.
Tables concrete with plastic cover all striping of leaving sharp edges.
Sun beds most held together with coach bolts with ends cut of with grinder[sharp edges]
Staff [underlings] very good, but not enough of them
ALL management ignorant and penny pinching.
All Inc. bar inside the hotel is closed at 9.30pm [sharp] you then have to go outside the All Inc. bar outside also close at 9.30pm. [ not much of a bar more a kiosk.] you then use the poolside bar.[take out a mortgage]
] No pack lunch if your out for the day.
Health & Safety very poor.
Need I say more? | |

Later that morning we went for breakfast am all i had was tined peaches cos the food was not great at all. After out Holiday Rep talked about the activities around the island and some History, so knew alot about The entertainment in the hotel was a bit rubbish mostly the same every night. Plus it went on till 1am in the morning which was not great. The pool area was really nice, with the pool bar too, which stayed open till 1pm. We met some really nice people I the hotel so that made our stay a lot nicer. Make friends as soon as you arrive; it’s nice to see familiar faces throw the duration of your holiday. The Staff were a little strange, but nice. Oh didn’t like the cleaning much and they changed your towel ever 3 days, so you may want to take extra towels. Overall this is an ok Hotel if you’re just looking for bed, if your one for luxury then this isn’t for you.

this was by far the worst hotel i have ever stayed, the food was disgusting and there was hardly any choice, the staff tried their best ruin our holiday and were extremley rude, if your young beware they will dislike you even more(especially the night staff man). we was ment to have a family room that slept 4 people, there was three of us and we had to put most of the furniture from the room on the balcony so we could get our suitcases in it was that small. one of us was without a pillow and sheet for the first 2 nights even after complaining 4 times. when we arrived we were given our room only to be told the next morning that we would have to move if we didnt get air conditioning.we also payed extra to have a late room which we found had only two beds and there was three of us. i would not reccommend going to this hotel in a million years. it was awful

We were all inclusive. We had a good holiday at this hotel except for the 9.30pm closing of the free bar. just as the entertainment started. tried to stack up table with drinks but were told that we could not do this. food was good. didn't like the way people were being told off so much by the staff. it was like being back at school. we were lucky we paid extra for air conditioning and had one of the new rooms. i pity anyone who had the old rooms. no good for anyone with walking problems. beach terrible stoney. been there once enjoyed but would not go back.

Well what can i say from a whole catalogue of events which means i can only say NEVER GO HERE! Arrived at 3am at the somewhat grim reception to be greeted by a grunt and an explanation that the family room (3 adults one child) was not available and that the wrong details had found it's way too the hotel. Our room was not booked until 9am that morning, but due to the wrong room details the receptionist decided to give us a room for the night (3 single beds) feeling that this was an apology of some description we accepted and crammed oursleves into the room to get a few hours kip before sorting the situation int he morning. Having woke up i arrived at reception and asking for our room - we where shown 2 totally inadequate rooms which could hardly sleep 3 never mind all the suitcases, finally we gave into a pool side room (close to the pool for the child), which was filthy (pubic hair on the toilet and stained sheets). Needless we bought of cleaning products at the local market and spruced it up and rearranged the furniture so we could fit the suitcases in.Anyway to cut a long story short all we heard where complaints about the hotel, grumpy staff, very strict rules regarding pool and drinking/eating in your hotel room. Adttitude from the management was 'we don't care it's our hotel' - we will let you decide form the many reviews we hear the new side of the hotel was top notch and the pool was good to be fair. Oh and i forgot to mention that night they gave us in the 3 single bed room when we arrived was then deducted from our stay and they chucked us out, child in tow, a day early saying we'd had 7 nights already - CHARMING!!! ![]()

![]() ![]() the entertainment was non-existant ( george the piano man), and it is a rip off for the air conditioning. But at least that handsome gorgeous night porter was the one to fit it for us.Ladies take note, he is always teasing the women by flexing his muscles whilst cleaning the pool, fag dangling on his lower lip and plastic bag in hand, whilst killing bugs in such a manly way. Andreas you look like your dog has just been ran over, every day we were there, you know it takes alot more muscles to frown than to smile.this was you George looked very fetching posing in the garden in his cow boy hat. The staff there have to really get over their fear of children and embrace them for they were the only source of life there. And if people want to dress up at night, please feel free to because we were made to feel like the royal family coming to see the peasants in ball gowns. And if certain members of staff recieve letters, it is only manners to write back YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE !!!! if you want the holy ones of fashion to grace your humble abode again !!![]()
