I stayed here for 2 weeks late October 2006. As a single woman I found the apartments very spacious and extremely clean, and although I speak little greek and Sophia herself speaks little english we made ourselves understood.Only a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants (well, those that were open that late in the season) made everything really convenient and the bus stop to Corfu town was only a stroll up the road, I couldnt have asked for more.
And the weather was fabulous ... even that late in the year, was great to spend my 34th birthday basking in the sun.
I recommend the resort and the apartments to lone travellers, couples and families, but not those looking for anything rowdy .. enjoy

Villa Sophia was far better than we had dreamed it would be. We stayed in the 2 bed apartment and it was spotlessly clean and very spacious. The gardens and view from the terrace were so relaxing and beautiful and the situation of the property was absolutely perfect. Minutes from the pool, beach and tavernas/shops but no noise could be heard despite the proximity to the facilities of the resort. The resort itself has a wealth of great restaurants such as Sebastians and Stevens and the whole village has a really friendly, safe but essentially Greek atmosphere. My children want to return tomorrow and we would recommend it to anyone! | ||||||||||

| Absolutely brilliant! We could not have found a better place to stay than Villa Sophia. The villa owners were so friendly and hospitable doing lots of little extras that we were not expecting which made the stay wonderful. I strongly recommend these beautiful villas for anyone travelling to Corfu. There are different size villas depending on your requirements situated directly across the road from the beach and in walking distance of bars and restaurants. What a place - We loved it! | ||||||||||
