Benitses Beach

I actually prefer the rocky beaches to sand, especially if you like snorkelling. Rocky beaches are very clear where as sandy beaches are cloudy. There are water sports and pedal boats..especially fun for kids if you can get one with a slide on it!

Please remember that the beaches on the east coast are pebbles not sand. We thought this would not be good, but providing you wear beach pumps it is fine. We went in 2003 and preferred pebbles to sand in the end. Much better than the west sandy beaches, well it does get everywhere

Hire a car and go to St Georges or Issoss beach sand is glorious

We are travelling to Benitses on the 12th August, heard the beaches are not to good, please could you recommend a sandy beach nearby? Many Thanks Jane Sherry
