We have just arrived back (after 14 nights stay) from one of the best holidays we have taken in quite a few years . The family consisted a range of ages starting at 13 up to 60+, everyone felt that all their needs were met. Petros and his mum, along with Georgia and Olga go out of their way to ensure that you have a great time. The accommodation is pretty basic, but as you only sleep (well we did) in the apartment it is adequate and clean! The pool area is kept clean and tidy with enough sun beds for everyone. As there are only 16 apartments on the site everyone got to know each other which only enhanced our experiance. Greek night was a great laugh and we ended up doing it twice, the price we paid was well worth it just for the meal alone .
We will be booking up to go again as soon as we can! BIG HELLO to everyone we met on the holiday
Love to all from Kev,Christine,Cameron & Andrew (aka Squidge)

Hi there i am booking a holiday for me and my girlfriend for the summer and i was looking at the amarosa apartments and in the holiday brochure it says that the beach that is right next to it is a pebble beach just wondering if this was right or there has been a mistake in the brochure as many other things say that the beach at roda is sandy.
Thanks.

Spent the first week in September 2007 in the Amorosa Appartments. Had a lovely relaxing time.... they are in the middle of two resorts. the local people are really friendly, I was glad visited most of the recommended eateries and bars. Petros, Yannis and Mama are fabulous hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was excellent, the bar service was great. I think they make the holiday as the apartment owner is not around usually. The pool was clean and there are plenty sunbeds around, the sea and beach is just over a very small road. the view was fantastic. A great place to relax and do a bit of walking to the two nearby resorts. PS Terri our Thompsons Rep was great too !!!!!!!!!!! |

Becca and me went on 22nd june for a week with 3 other girls and had a great time, we could not fault the place it was close to everything we could wish for and Petros and his family were great his mum is a great cook, his brother could work harder to help Petros out more, Petros works to hard, he took me and Bec into town after work one evening to show us the nitelife which was really good of him, he was a great Host and the Creek night was the best fun we have had in ages, I would def go back and recommend the resort to everyone, the only problem we had was it got up to 47oc when we were out there so Air conditioning in the apartments would have been nice. |

Hi, my wife Sara and I stayed here for 2 weeks at the beginning of the season in May 2007. We expected a relaxing holiday and thats what we got. The whole place we could not fault ,the place was very well maintained. We were made very welcome by Petros and his family. Only 5 -10 mins from nearby bars like Crusoes and Pirates which we loved , excellent restauarants such as Newport and Kind Hearted Place ,the beach on your doorstep what more do you want?. We had a great time relaxing by the pool, and spent many late nights at the bar with Petros and the other guests. Petros keeps the bar open till whenever the last person leaves, which is a good thing, it was usually us!! Had a brilliant time and some laughs and we could not imagine anyone having a bad word against the place. We loved it and hope to go back again , the sooner the better. great people, excellent food, and hospitality etc . The place would suit almost everyone , after all the holiday is what you make of it, and boy did us Geordies do that!!
Thanks again to Petros and his family and hope to see them all again soon...
Well Done...

JON CROSS (June 01, 2007) |
I stayed at Amorosa Apartments in May 2007 and had just the best time for years. It was all it was meant to be. Quiet, clean, excellent value for money and the family that run the site are brill. I can't say enough about Petros and his family. They are magic. Petros and his brother run the premises for the most part, his mum does the cooking, and what a cook! You will not get a better meal anywhere on Corfu. I mean it, she's brill. Dad, as far as I could make out, did the books and generally lent a hand as and when. The whole package is "just right" The accomodation is more than sufficient for needs although we could have done with a couple of electric fans to cool the air sometimes. Petros is the best bar person I have come across in all my travels and is so friendly & helpful, I cannot give him enough support, his efforts to accomodate and help are legendary. (I've seen others say the same and I have to endorse them) He is the one behind Paul(it was Paul's birthday that day) and Petros bought him a birthday cake with candles & fireworks on it. That's the sort of person he is, generous and thoughtful. That is not to say that the other members of the family are to be left out, they are all superb at their job and the teamwork they provide makes your holiday so much better. We didn't use the pool but it was more than adequate for the premises and was popular with other guests. The bar is open from around 9am to pretty much whenever! We were there until after 3am one morning but we all felt rotten the next day because Petros looked so tired but he never once complained and was his usual happy self. I went with 3 friends and they all confirm what I have said here. If you want a good value for money, quiet, excellent holiday then this is the place for you. If you go, please tell Petros....Jon, Walter, Paul & Carol send their love and WE WILL SEE HIM AGAIN! (Hope that doesn't make him give up the job!!!) Go there, enjoy. Jon |
