Accommodation in Kalami

Does anyone who has been to the AdonisApartments know if we can rent an electric fan for a week.  Don't fancy trying to sleep in the heat!
Air conditioning should be a "must" in Greece.  Also, have they heard of shower curtains, or rubber shower mats!!!!

this is the second time ive been to the adonis appartments in corfu and its jus a brilliant holiday wether you are on your own with kids or young and want to party, it is ideal for partying as its jus 15 mins in a taxi to kassiopi where u can find several clubs and loadsa great bars. the staff in the adonis appartments r so much fun like, gave me sum free drinks on me alst nite. the only down side is the never ending climb to the apartments, unless ur lazy wen in which case u can use the lift. and the secodn is tht ther is no air conditioning which is liveable but bloody hot. the service from the rep we had gemma was good, n she were fitt as!!! ther is a couple of groceryt shops in kalami whwich r fairly cheap. the view form the top appartments is sensational. the beach is pebbley but its stil nice, the sea is clear blu n propa nice n warm. its excellent for scuba diving me n a couple of the lads went a few times n once u get so far out its jus spectacular. there are two places to book excursions other than thru the rep as thy are more expensiv. there is a place to rent motorbikes n cars out, a place to rent boats out.

overall its ace

This was our second visit and certainly wont be our last.Excellent is not a good enough description.

The apartments were clean, quite spacious with daily maid service. We were at the top and what a wonderful view over the bay. It was a pleasure to sit and have a beer in the evening and watch over the bay and down the coast.
I climbed the stairs once and decided that the lift was best after that.
Not a lot to do in Kalami. It is a place to chill. The pools were good - the bottom one is the better of the two. However, we found a cracking place next door, Summer Dreams (opened this year and 50 mtrs along from the Adonis shop) with a very nice clean pool and not too busy.
This is not a cheap holiday although a trip to Kasiopi on the bus will result in cheaper shopping.
Trips can be booked at Kalami agents -next to Thomas's taverna (across the road from the Kalami Bar) - much cheaper than elsewere.
Worth taking a trip in the evening on the boat round to Nicholas's Taverna in the next bay. The best Taverna in the place. You need to book this to be sure of a place and this can be done at the Kalami Agents.

I will return there.

Can you let me know if there are any 2 bedroom apartments in Kalami for 2 weeks between
17th August 2004 and 31st August 2004. I have booked my flights on these days.

Thanks

Been for the last 7 years, very basic but clean, quite a lot of noise at night. Love the place but the BIG draw back is no air conditioning and if you are not fit, the steps. Lovely people.
This is no longer a bargain holiday as since the introduction of the euro you are looking at paying uk prices for food and drink.

We stayed at Adonis Apartments in Sept 2001 for 2 weeks.I must admit that I was apprehensive at first as Thomsons brochure gave it a 2 star rating. What a joke! The whole experiece was 5 star plus from the friendly staff, the good food, and the perfect location.
The only drawbacks were steep steps and no air conditioning.
If you want lively night life give these appartments a wide berth
