Sailors is a great place to visit. I went there the week before last and food the food,atmosphere and home made red wine wonderful, Spiros, well what can I say a great host. Will be going again next year!!!!! I had a Garlic bread starter, sofito and a wonderful dessert of pastry filled with banana and strawberries served with ice cream mmmmmmmmmmm!

We have been there with terrific thunderstorms, floods etc and also been there when the weather has been fantastic. It's pot luck as to when the 'rains' start. Its this that makes the island so green so we have to accept it

Again a great time to visit if you like hot, hot, hot and busy, busy , busy. This is the month all the italians come to Corfu so it is mega busy. Not my favourite time. |

The weather in July is really beautiful, if you have the option of air conditioning take it, you will need it
Every thing is now open and Sidari is getting to be very busy. You can though still find 'quiet' places to enjoy. If you are interested in car hire or trips, then try Value plus. Situated as you come into Sidari high street on the right hand side of the road, just past the big supermarketo and also up near canal d'mour next to the southern fried chicken outlet. Value plus cars offer very good value for money and have fully comprehensive insurance (unlike some other operators) and the trips are good value and very much cheaper than booking through your tour rep  |

We have been to, and enjoyed food at this resturant sinced it opened. It was great when we were there for a week this winter the restuarant was open Friday Saturday and Sunday. For eat in or take away. We had a wonderful takeaway and it worked out 'cheap as chips' but totally wonderful. Keep up the good work guys!!!!!! |

Sidari can be anything you want it to be it depends on where you choose to spend your days and evenings etc. Most apartments do tend to be basic but very clean. If Jimmys was unhygenic then take it up with your travel agent. Next holiday you book go to the north pole because Sidari does not want people to return with your attitude. |

Do not get this trip throught your rep!!!! They will charge about 37 euro's - its the way they supplement their wages - but the tour operators charge so much for their holidays so should be abe to pay their reps a good wage and not train them to continue to rip of the tourist - go to a local shop like valueplus and find the same trip for 18 euros!!!!!!! Why would you want to spend 37 euros against 18 euros!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

To clarify Yannis and Sophie do have 2 sites - both called valueplus - the main office where they are based is in the high street when coming into Sidari from Corfu Town they are situated on the right hand side just past the Oasis resturant - the second office is at the other end of Sidari and is next to the bowling alley and opposite the taxi rank. |

Having checked all the post from DJ lite I have concluded he is just a nutter - I am sure Sidari is pleased he went home!!!!! Your depression I think is Sidari's salvation!!!!!! I cannot beleive this sight would allow 69 posts on sites that have nothing to do with VICTOR AND LISA to slag them off. Is there anyone out there checking what peaople are saying? |

| I find it very diffut to beleive the rating Buddies has on the front sheet. i.e. no comments - there are in fact 9 - 2 from DG Lite who obviously had a problem with victor. He does not run Buddies Lisa does. 6 very positive comments regarding Buddies not reflected why? Check on the other posts from the negative comments, they are very interesting!!!!! |

The chinese we went to was actually called China Town - excellant food, great service Pablo was great!! Have been a few times never dissapointed - highly recommended. |

Been again to Sidari, returned last week. Had lunch and evening meal on several occasions were never dissapointed!!! Red wine now at room temp I am glad to say - in 2004 it was always chilled!!!!!
Try the meze - to die for!!! Lamb chops - wonderful, Pizza WOW,excellant chef salad - I could go on and on!!!!! |

Havenever been mself but my daughter and husband went - they booked through value plus how specialise in trips and car hire situated on the main road into Sidari opposite the oasis resturant and further through the town near the bowling alley. They really enjoyed it and found it to be good value for money!!!!! |

| It is very difficult to find when you dont know where it is. If you follow the road that leads to the large car park (at the crossroads where McDonalds is go past and opposite the paridise is the road) go to nearly the end and you will see Romano on your right. Very very good food. Used by many Greeks which I beleive speaks volumes!!!!! |

we have been going to buddies for quite a few years and Lisa works very hard to make it a great place - and I think achieves this!!! I am unsure where the post regarding victor actually fit into buddies. I know he is her husband but the business at buddies is run by her. The food is good, the atmosphere is good and the price is good. It is unfair she is scoring so low because some people appear to have a problem with Victor!!!! |

| I love Corfu and sidari but totally disagree with 'pub crawls' and do not think the travel agents should encourage this behaviour in any resorts ( except maybe Kavos) I think the majority of families/couples etc. who go for a holiday to enjoy the daytime sunshine and evening eating etc. do not want to join the reps all making fools of themselves and getting drunk! Travel operators should take ownership of what they are inflicting on the resorts!!!!! |

the pool is not dirty!!!!! How can you say that it is very clean have been swimming in that pool every year (most years twice) since it opened in 1996 never once have we had an infection from A DIRTY POOL - speaks for iteself |

when we went in May we knew it was just opened so were willing for hic cups. Waited ages huge portions but bland and not nice to eat!!!! Service really poor. Hand helds taking the orders waitors kept coming back to check they had it right! Went again in June still poor service but food disgusting again huge portions but did not want to eat it!!!! Followed by huge bill!!!!The Margaretia's are awful! Dont even think about it. If you like Mexican take a trip to Kassiopi and vist Poco Loco for great food and great service great Margaretia - thoroughly recommended!!!

| We went there in June - just opened and were minus doors!!!!! food excellant great choices - very varied menu. Not keen on red wine being served from the fridge!!!!! Went back in Oct - now they have doors had to sit outside and wait for a table because it was full - greeks as well as holiday makers, good sign!!! The lamb chops are to die for and the pizza's are very good but red wine still cold!!!! You have got to try this restaurant it is sooooo good!!!!! |

as I said in previous the Nikos apartments we were at were obviously not these. They are in a quiet road near the Beach Star Hotel and do no have links with a travel agent they have to be booked privately (see the previous posting for e mail address) Lovely couple live on site. No pool but large apartments and nipping clean

| regarding the othonos apartments we stayed there 3 years ago and although the tiles on the bathroom walls were dated the space was large and very clean. We go to sidari every year for twice and where ever we stay we always use the pool at the othonas apartments because we find the family that run it to be very friendly - helpful - and honest!!!! They do though get annoyed with people that dont follow basic rules of behaviour!!!!! quite rightly when they have to supply an environment to suit families, singles and older people. Great place - thoroughly recommend Tele (barman) and dimitria (mum) great people |

| it is smaller than aqualand bot easier to keep on eye on the children if they are small, went with the grandchildren and had a great time. As stated easier to relax - although we enjoyed aqualand we were constanly on edge - here we relqaxed as well |

No BBQ but the price reflects this and when you first arrive you will find a small cafe and the food is great - and cheap!!!! Dont go at the beginning of your holiday use it to top up the tan when you are already quite brown - you will then go ebony!! |

we came back on Friday - first time in Corfu, we went with friends who have been many times. They recommended value plus to us for the car rental but because our budget was limited we toured the strip getting prices etc. We had to admit to our friends thry were right because we did not find a better deal and in fact wasted half a day when we could have been in the sunshine!!!! We were not dissapointed good price nice car! Thank you value plus.

| went to aqualand through value plus in sidari (do trips and car hire) worked out cheaper through them on the coach than through travel agent or indeed if you made own way. Coach trip and entrance only 19 euros for adult and 13 euros for child - small child free!!! Great day out! |

| we have just returned and while there booked a car through value plus. Excellant service from Yannis. We also discovered that they will deliver a car to the airport. As we are planning to return next year we will book one on the internet because the journey to Sidari to our apartments took so long going to Kassiopi, Acharavi, Roda etc first. We also discovered we can book apartments dircet as well so we will cut out the travel agent and book direct. We also discovered having book 2 trips with our travel agent that the same trips booked direct at value plus were so much cheaper than through the reps. I know who I will be giong back to!!!!!!! |
