Kellys Ice House - (Bars in Sidari)

Fiona H          10/10

Kelly's was my and my daughters favourite place to go and chill out in Sidari , it's a fairly new place just off Sidari main road in the centre.  Kelly and her family are so lovely, they take time out to chat and make you feel a part of things and the desserts are to die for.  They are open until 2.30am and have a totally fab cocktail menu and if I ever go to Sidari again Kellys is the first place I'll visit. All the best with your new business guys and hope all works out brilliantly for you, thanks for being our favourite holiday bar and keep that table outside in the corner free for me . Shipwreck Restaurant - (Restaurants in Sidari)

Fiona H  (23 July 2008)        10/10

This little restaurant is just along the beach at the opposite end to Canal d'amour. Was my and my daughters favourite place to grab a bite to eat for breakfast or evening meal.  The menu isn't huge but the lady who runs it is very friendly and lovely plus the food we ate there was very well cooked and exactly how we asked for it.  I recommend the greek food we tried several new dishes and I particularly liked the I think it's called Stamma!!! Anyway it's a kind of beef stew with cheese on top and it was so tasty I could have easily eaten another instead of desert after the first .  Will definately go back to Shipwreck if we visit Sidari again because the atmosphere is as good as the food. Thank you very much

Yannis II Hotel - (Accommodation in Sidari)

Fiona H          5/10

Ok mixed feelings about this so I'm gonna be honest. Yannis and bar staff were friendly but not particularly helpful regarding general information. You pay extra for everything, I was shocked the aircon is an extra 7 euros per night and when you're paying for a cut price break that adds a lot onto the overall cost, the safe is also another 10 euros for week.

Towels were only changed once per week so take extra and you need to put one down on the shower room floor as the tiles get very slippy and the drain cover was all broken in our appartment, the top of the bathroom cabinet had a hole in it and got very hot from the light which we didn't realise and my daughter got a hole burnt in her make up bag which she'd put up there. I'm just glad it didn't catch on fire.

The pool was lovely and very clean and except for the things I've mentioned the apartments were also basic but nice and close to the town centre for walking but quiet enough to be away from noise at night. We did have a problem with teenagers in appartment next door making a lot of noise after coming in drunk and when I tried to ask staff if they could help they just said it was better if I spoke to them which I was not too happy about. Luckily the teenagers concerned didn't tell me to get lost and were really quiet the rest of the hols.
