Olive Grove Studios - (Accommodation in Sidari)

Jane & neil T

We stayed at the Olive Grove Apartments from 1 to 15 August and we had a very good time there.  The apartments are situated on the outskirts of Sidari which is a good thing if you don't want all the noise!  They are only a 2 minute walk from the loveliest little cove with ideal swimming conditions for all the family, although there was a bit of seaweed at times - but this didn't spoil things.

The apartments are spacious and clean - brilliant shower - lots of pressure and hot water!  We were lucky enough to have double-glazing which kept out any noise (which was just as well as we were above the bar) but I'm not sure all the apartments have this.  However, apart from Barbecue night, there was never too much noise in the bar.  The air conditioning is extra but worth every penny.  Everyone was very friendly, charming and extremely helpful.  Katarina and Yanni run a good ship and they were perfect hosts.  The pool is lovely and the sun beds free (unlike in other places).  In the evenings they had films on which my youngest son enjoyed very much.  The restaurant is very good if you don't want to go into town - and extremely reasonable in price.

We would recommend The Olive Grove to anyone wishing to holiday in Corfu - young and old alike.  We had a great time there.

Aqualand - (Places to Visit on Corfu)

Jane & neil T

Aqualand is a brilliant day out.  Lots to do for everyone and plenty of seating.  Amenities also were clean.  We had a super time there - especially in the wave pool.  Food is not cheap but not totally a rip-off.  We took our own lunch and just had an ice-cream which saved money.

One word of warning, however.  They only take cash!  There are five of us in our family and, at €19 a head, we wanted to pay by credit card but they wouldn't take it.  They also wouldn't take an American Express Traveller Cheque for €100.  As we had only taken a small amount of cash, we had to change our plans and go to Paleokastritsa instead which was annoying as we hadn't got our camera with us.
