I am going to Silver beach hotel in about two weeks.I would love to know more about the area,and if posible what the hotel,food,and beaches are like?

We stayed at the Siler beach Hotel in Roda.29/5- 06/6. And to our surprise found it far better than any of the reviews we had read about it.Roda is fairly quiet,but i know that it was just picking up as it was heading into June.So those of you going now will find it more lively! Plenty of Karaoke,british type bars if you like that sort of thing? Unfortunately we found it a bit too much.We would recommend you hire a car and go to up to the mountains.We did that plus saw Kassiopi,and on the west coast Arillas for the sunset all in one day.Really worth the money! If you go to Corfu town,don't take the reps trip.After we booked it we found SO many other ways of getting there more cheaply..even by boat.So shop around and ask the locals who work in your hotel or wherever.
oh,if you are a weak swimmer or have children then the sea is great.It has some REALLY shallow areas.And hire a pedalo for 7 euros!
