Sidari - (Resorts on Corfu)

Pat C

we have just returned form sidari it was a great holiday stayed at chritina apartments on the main road out of sidari 15/20mins from beach and main shopping area which is what we wanted no good if you are disabled as its quite rough going in the complex grounds the apartments were excellent we were at the rear of the complex with two spacious well equiped rooms and a balcony, very clean!it has a pool and bar pool great bar expensive prices changed daily for the same drinks/bar entertainment/poor,bingo/quiz/karaoki.and usually empty (wonder why)lots of other nearby bars and restaurants and a go-kart track if you are shopping prices are lower at this end of sidari the nearer you get to the beach the dearer it gets so even if your not stopping at this end of sidari its worth the walk when your buying save yourself money.good places to eat.cant go past salt and pepper cheap and plenty to fill yor plate princess travel offered the cheapest trips when we were there its opposite thompsons travel just accross the road from the supermarket.hope you all enjoy it as much as we did ( if mosquitos are prone to make straight for YOU start taking antihistamine a week or so before you go but dont buy any to take with you they are cheaper to buy over there.

Boat trip to Parga (mainland Greece) - (Corfu Excursions)

Pat C

We loved this trip the scenery was breathtaking my husband wanted to jump ship in Parga it was so lovely but only if you enjoy sightseeing We wanted to see as much of greece as was possible during our stay and what better way to do it. I wouldnt recommend it if you have kids as its quite a trashing day and hard on the feet so wear comfy shoes its an early start as well and a full day but I thought it was beautiful be warned though if your prone to burn easily dont sit on the top deck it is scorching but you cant feel it burning because of the sea breeze.the last port of call has quite a long walk into shopping area as the ferry cant dock nearer so hence the comfy shoes! camera is a must.
