Napoleons

Restaurants in Sidari

click to enlargeNapoleons has to be the greatest snack bar/bar in Sidari. Dennis who is Napoleons little brother runs it and is the one of the most welcoming , friendly guys.
We used to walk along here every afternoon for a Zorba beer and a snack.  Its location is excellent too and the beach is a couple of steps from it.
Whilst you are sitting there soaking up the atmosphere and sun you are greeted with a  generous amount of   little snacks to help soak up the ouzo/ beer
We have been going to Napoleons for a few years now and always greeted with a warm welcome every time.  Recommend you pay a visit.

Anyone going to Sidari MUST visit Napoleons Fast Food and One for The Road.  This family must be one of the nicest in Corfu.  They make you very welcome the food is fantastic and they are always giving you free drinks and snacks.  Dennis runs the Fast Food and his Brother Napoleon along with his sister Vicky run 1 For The Road.  We can't wait to go back next year and hope that Maria is still there.

NAPOLEONS is fantastic place to eat and have a drink my family ate there every night, it is run by napoleons family, the food is excellent and sevice is superb, napoleons younger brother dennis(diogenis) cooked for us most nights, he was a real big hit with the kids once again,we have been eating her since 2000 and they always remember a familiar face, napoleon has a bar in the centre of sidari called 1 for the road and it is a realy nice family bar with childrens play area.................. all i can say is that if you do not visit here whilst in sidari you will realy be missing out

Best little bar in sidari, right on the sea front. We went here most afternoons after a stroll along the beach. While we sat and had a beer Napoleon sent lots of freebies out to people sat there, like home made cake to plates of kebab meat , chips and salad. The staff are the best Agnes and Christopher, who are Polish and their hospitality is superb. They are the nicest people you could possible meet.

Michael W

my wife and i really enjoyed our holiday in sidari especially as napoleon made us more than welcome. we will return, if for nothing else too find out if agnes is speaking good english.

got hammered banana style baby!! we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the lovely resort of sidari at the far north of the lucious island of corfu.

the food was great, especially his kebabs and tsakiki sause. he was very generous with his free drinks, food and offerings.

Mary L

Efharisto, I need to find what the restaurant is which is in Canal d'amour, before you reach Angelina's apartments on the right, next to Churchills (english restaurant), there is aboy valled kostas who works there. Any idea? Thanks

we only went in for a few drink s  one afternoon he kept giving us shots we really didnt want then he charged us for them AVOID

Pavlos

have known napoleon 10 years. got to be the nicest guy on the island.
will go out of his way to help you in every way he can.be it learning greek.or he even speak good english himself, and with all the accents.always up for a laugh.not ya typical greek bloke.not just after ya money,he just wants you to have a good time, all the time.

get to know him, his family, stella and nikos(mum and dad) wonderful people.you be amazed at the time they put in to running such a nice little beachside bar.
food is excellent, service second to none.
got to be the best beach sisde bar in resort if not the island.

the waitress sofia she always up for a laugh as well.
they just make you feel so welcome. they good with your kids.
if you ever go to napoleons place and dont learn one word of greek then you either really boring or just cant be bothered. napoleon loves it when us brits go on holidays and try to learn their lingo.
he has even got translation sheets of basic phrases and sayings they use in corfu.
a definite must for familys, couples old and young,he would have the queen speaking greek if ever she went.

what more can i say..........................................

Food is fabulous and the service and friendliness is fantastic. Napoleon, his family and staff really made us feel welcome at the restaurant and at One for the Road. We certainly ate and drank very well!!!! Will definately be back.

Sylvia C

again visted napoleons - great service - good price - we only use it for snacks - but great snacks. Cannot comment on evening meals- great service and such friendly service - give it a try!

13 times we,ve been to Sidari and it was Napoleon and his family who made up our minds for us to revisit after our first time.Great people, great food and great service.Still have to try the new restuarant when we visit this year but if past standards are anything to go by i,m positive it,ll be 100%

Kate C

We went there 3 times in all for lunch in a week's holiday! Would have gone earlier if we knew it was there. The kebabs are to die for and the friendliness of the service is out of this world. You cannot beat 1.50 euros for a pint of Amstel either.

Gail H

We spent more than a few wonderful evenings here. Napoleons brother Theogenis, Denis in English, runs the place after 4 in the afternoons, he was a big hit with our children. The food was good but we went here more for the wonderful greek hospitality that the family provided.

Donna C

Went to Napoleons every afternoon for our lunch. He serves the best food in Sidari especially his Kebabs. Napoleon & Jim his waiter made us very welcome Free Drinks and Free samples of his food. At night we went to his other place One For The Road, again food, drink and all his staff were fantastic. Free shots of Red Vodka were a regular occurence along with the Ozuo.

We did'nt actually try any food in this resurant, but i sill felt it nessesary to put in a good word for Napoleons other resturant "1 for the road". The food was great, the service was great (Napoleon really made it a pleasure to be there), and there were plenty of free drinks to be had!

THANKS NAPOLEON! Keep up the good work.

We have just come back from sidari and visited napoleonns most days for lunch, the kebabs annd sanwiches were really good, coupled with the cheapest beer in sidari. We had two nice evening meals there as well, home cooked by napoleons mum. He also has another restaurant in town called "One for the road" not quite as cheap but well worth a visit, Free drinks come often, and he'll try and teach you to speak Greek.
